We have to stay on track.

Hopefully Calderon shuts it down too.

I think we've got more leeway than that. It'll probably come down to our games against Philly, if we split them we're in pretty good shape and if we lose both we've got room for at least 4 or 5 wins which is pushing it to even expect that much from our guys.

Yeah but what happens if we win both games against Philly?

The way I see it, the Philly F.O. is extremely desperate and I could easily see Philly very intentionally losing both games.
Tanking again, I suppose. Is there any other way?

Those two games, we can go full purposeful losing

I sure would!

I'd tell every single Knick to try to miss every basket till we're down 30

I don't trust any GM in the league with one or two late firsts/early seconds. It's not an exact science and the odds of doing anything special with just a couple of picks are against you. If you're going that route, you have to get 10+ over a few years like the Sixers and Celtics did to maximize your odds of hitting something. To do it, you're likely taking a few busts.

I'm not sure how viable a strategy that is with a few teams already heavily invested in it over the next few seasons. Maybe after that there is some opportunity to get in.

The better science, imo, is the top of the draft where we have one pick this year. Maybe use Carmelo to get another + some depth to develop or maybe build around Carmelo.

Cleanthony finally got minutes 23 and did well. told yall all he needed was minutes.

Also Bargs showed some good flashes.

Thank God for THAT.

I was beginning to wonder about him.

I can see that he has potential. He was not Chris Bosh and the Raptors were looking for him to take over ala Dirk, but apparently Bargs was seeking his own identity. If Jackson can revitalize his career, Phil would add another feather to his cap.

I can't see the Knicks not winning at least 5 more games. Going 5-21 or even 6-20 in the remainder of the season.

they haven't one a single game without Melo. 0-15 I think. What makes you think they can have a 24% winning percentage to end the season when they have had 18% winning percentage all year with Melo playing in a majority of the games.

Knicks haven't been blown out in too many games even without Melo. I just think they'll win 5-6 of the remaining 26, we will see.
