Knicks just need to pick the right free agents and draft pick. Okafor would help NY be a top team next year.

I think they are as good as their record. But there's no guarantee that they stay that good.

But I do agree with Fish, next season is a whole new start, and there's no reason for him not to be optimistic.

And how are they not as good as their record? Because they weren't this good last year? Well, their coach is in full command this year. They are as good as their record. They just aren't as sexy as their record in terms of name recognition.

"But we don't really have to put a number on it," Fisher continued. "We are 6-21 in games [decided] by six points or less this year. So we lost 21 games on two possessions. So we don't have go from 15 to 36 next year. We can go from 15 to 63 if we really want to. But that is up to us."

This part is best explained by the world's foremost authority, Professor Irwin Corey, a consultant to the Knicks.

Sometimes I really don't understand how these ESPN people get paid to spew this nonsense. The one guy says he read the whole quote in context and then continued to harp on one sentence in the whole quote. GTFOH
