Ok, maybe you are not impressed with Galloway. I get it; it's not the only time a team has found a good player in the D-League.

But the guy is well known as a good scout, and being a lead scout for the Bulls during the dynasty run surely means something. Now, Krauss was apparently known as a good scout before he became a GM, so I doubt he would have hired a scrub to be a scout.

Gaines is the man, but finding Galloway is nothing. He is an average NBA talent.

that same notion was probably used when guys like Ben Wallace, Wesley Matthews, Bruce Bowen, Raja Bell, John Starks, Avery Johnson, Udonis Haslem, Brad Miller, Reggie Evans, & Darrell Armstrong were first signed.

What do all those guys have in common? They were all undrafted. What else? They were all considered average talent when they were signed.

The key is being able to turn undrafted players from the Chris Smith mold to a serviceable players. All the players above became serviceable.

Can Galloway be serviceable? Who knows, but I'm sure Gaines has seen his fair share of players over the years to know that this kid will be good for the team.

Doubt it, considering one is 29, the other is around 75.

Clarence Gaines Jr is only 57.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

Whether Galloway is an amazing find remains to be seen but he certainly picked up the triangle very quickly. Jr Smith and Iman are still confused.
