Awkward
Part of me feels sorry for him, but another part of me is like "hahaha **** you for screwing up our #1 pick".

I remember Knicks fans cheering at the Barclays center when Silver announced that THJ was going to ATL for Grant.

I remember Knicks fans booing Porzingis at #4 and the camera zooming in on that kid! LOL

At least he's gone thru the worse moment as a Knick, his very first minute.

It was some random Knicks fans draft party, not the official Knicks draft party.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

I can't remember a single lottery pick since Ewing that the fans didn't boo!

Timmy got what he deserved for his rebellion in our last games... Towns could've been a Knick now!!

But, if we get Marc Gasol, everything will be fine for us... Grant/SG/Melo/Kristaps/Gasol for the glory!!

Ironically, hardaway was one of the few draft picks fans cheered for when he was selected. Go figure

I was happy to have picked up Hardaway back then. But last year was just such a 180 from the year before, attitude and ability wise. This must have sucked for him though. I hope he does well in ATL.

While I love Zinger, I will never forgive THJ for what he did during the last few games, and could never root for him, so I am happy he is gone, especially with getting Grant.

Also Phil did what he said he would do: trade guys to teams where they would have a great chance. Timmy got dealt to ATL, a top team in the East, and he will have a great opportunity to continue on in his career. It's unfortunate that you have to give to get, but nature of the beast.

Timmy is a good player, will be a nice scoring punch for ATL.

on that aspect phil is great.
there isnt a single player that phil trade to bad place.

t.chandler+felton to dallas and rick carlisle.
jr+shumpert to lebron james.(both played role to get Finals)
prigioni to houston.(WCF)
thjr to ATL.

i hope players would respect that and come here as free agent.
even its not attract FA i respect phil's moves. he cares about players. its good for Knicks franchise.

i hated danny ainge's treatment to their big 3. 3-4 years past and what did he accomplish with sending those franchise players away?
why didnt he let p.pierce to retire in celtics uniform?

eh, I don't have a big issue with ainge's rebuild. I have a much larger issue with Morey's starphucking.
It's one thing to find out on draft day you have been traded, its a possibility and Phil seems like a pretty open guy, might have even warned Timmy. Morey doesn't tell his players anything, and puts a billboard of Melo wearing a current players jersey. Rockets players outright saying Parsons wasn't important. Things like that are just really low of the low. These players are just parts I guess...

Ouch, lol, definitely awkward. And lmao @ Berman for trying to imply drama between Clyde and Phil. GEt a life berman. Clyde is well known to be something of a loner.

Question, was there an official Knicks draft party? I'm asking because I don't know and you speak as there was. Was there any other draft party being hosted by Knicks players. If not think kinda make this an official Knicks draft party. The Knicks fan club there was the real and true diehards Knicks fan club. Probably the largest Knick fan group. Was at Clyde Wine and Dine. Present were Clyde, Tim Jr., Galloway, and Early. Very unfortunate for Timmy to find out that way. Don't see how that is equated to show change in relationship between Phil and Clyde. There were more than one trade situation. Was Phil suppose to brief Clyde on them all?
