Clearly doesn't know what she's talking about.
Her name isn't in the national zeitgeist. saying something about the infamous Knicks is click bate.

I wonder what Melo's perception amongst players in the league is. I'd like to know
"We’ll find a way to either make him a very useful player in our organization, or whatever"

So I googled her and she's ranked 158 in the world and has never gotten past the 3rd round of a tournament. Who cares what she thinks about anything basketball related?

Out of curiosity, if Coco was ranked in the top 5, if it was Serena Williams who said this, would you give more credence to it, thinking she knows what it takes to win, she sees something we dont even if she might not know the intracacies of the game?

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

Not at all. I'm merely pointing out that she's not exactly dominant in her sport so her labelling a player as soft and saying they appear to lack a competitive fire when she has zero success in her own field is pretty bold. The actual merit of the statement would be equally dubious if Serena said it but I think it takes more gaul for this young lady who hasn't accomplished as much in her field as Melo has in his to say than for someone like Serena who is basically Lebron at worst and maybe even Jordan in her field. I don't know if I'm phrasing it how I'd like to but I hope that makes sense.
