I'd love KJ, but do you think we can get him for 2.8 mil?

We still need an explosive scorer off the bench. These are the guys who I think can score 13+ points on any given night. They all have some serious drawbacks in their game.

Louie Williams
JR Smith
Nate Robinson
Gary Neal (was recently signed)
Reggie Jackson (restricted)
Rodney Stuckey
Aaron Brooks
Jeremy Lin
Mirza Teletovic
Andrea Bargniani
Jason Terry
Andray Blatche
Jameer Nelson

Lou Williams is def not taking 2.8. 6th man of the year is def commanding 7-10 Mill.

I would agree, a energizer off the bench is needed. Some one who can come in and bring some scoring, right now who would be the knicks sixth man ?

He won't take 2.8. I was just naming names. The top sixth man usually commands around 5-9 million a year.

I don't see what is so special about Jeff Taylor. What do you like about his game?

He went to Vandy.

Seriously he was a good rookie but come on KT you know its been rocky ever since.

Never got consistent minutes, got injured, and in poor style for his type of game.

He can be a great defender still and a good offensive option - he's shown signs since his rookie year.

Ben Gordon might be the worst player in the NBA. Please, no.

Shved and Marcus Thornton. Forgot to add. There's still a lot of good players we can get for the bench. Just listing more than a dozen names that can give us a spark.

Hope we sign Shved. He's earned a spot on the Knicks roster this year.

Shved would be taking a small pay cut if he took the 2.8mill. During the season he said he loved playing in this system because it emphasizes his strengths rather than just pick and roll basketball. He put up 14 and 4 per 26 minutes during 17 games in NY. Is there a market for him?

Couldn't we sign someone with the Room Exception and and go over the CAP and sign Shevd because we have his bird rights?

Shveddy's per 36 numbers last year out of Rubio's shadow:
20.4/4.6/5.0, 46.7 eFG%, 54 TS%, 19.5 PER, 0.5 BPM.
Of all the players left only Lou Will had a higher PER. Now his sample size might be small but he was supposed to be this good coming from Russia (that's why he got a 3 year 9 mil contract after coming over and its why he refused to come over until he was allowed to come as a free agent). His last year in Europe he dominated and was the second best player on his team to AK47.
