Shved is the best most realistic pickup. He can give you a lot coming off the bench or take minutes at the 2 if Afflalo plays the 3.

I don't think Cole stays. I can see him getting a decent offer from somewhere else as this Center market begins to dry up. He never really got the time or role he was looking for here...and he'd be missed...

But we need a veteran like Elton Brand to come in here and bring a voice, some actual leadership, into the clubhouse that Kurt and Sheed gave us a few years back.

I hope we get him for the Vet Min...but if giving him the 2.8mil exception is what it is going to take...I'd almost have to consider it.

I want KJ McDaniels though. And then this would become a B+ off season for me.

I like Aaron Brooks a lot. He could be a nice spark off the bench PG and have one of the other big guards slide over to SG.

Marcus Thronton was a good idea. KJ will not be had for $2.8, but i liked him (especially before Derrick Williams signing).

What's the deal with Barbosa? :dontknow:
