One pound of pure muscle.

It could and should be more then that, because we dont know how much pure muscle he gained since draft till start of the season..He gained like 15 pounds of weight..And that probably was just ''meat'' and few pounds of muscle..If he got like atleast 50% of that ''meat'' into pure muscle we should be happy, and knowing KP its probably even more

we should be far more concerned with the composition than the number. 240 is light for a man his height, but if there is more lean muscle surrounding his bones and ligaments, that's a good thing.

also, even if muscle, that number gets too high at his height and he's got foot and joint problems that shorten his career.

he seems to be hitting the weight room hard and getting lots of reps in. that's really all he needs to go aside from stay on the court working on his skills.

Guy just entered his twenties. His man-tabolism will kick in a couple of seasons from now and that's when an extra 10-20 pounds will appear. For now, it is about conditioning and strength training which can be completely transformative without showing up on the scales.

He might have, and then came back down with conditioning.

Watching old YouTube clips, Porzingis should develop a sky hook like Kareem did. Same body shape and frame too, he'd be unstoppable

That's nothing. Even Jose could have beaten that kid (ok, just barely).

Good sh*t by the emcee. "thats what you get for crying when he was drafted"

Pretty sure thats the kid's douchebag dad at the end walking by the camera. He was next to him at the draft encouraging the booing and trying to start a "we want winslow" chant

O yeah. Said that too. He's not going to have a problem putting on weight when he gets older.

I feel the same way about the Lakers kid ingraham. Big calves. He'll fill out in his mid-late twenties.

These guys are so ridiculously young.

yeah I mean part of it is that he's 7'3" but he's got a good frame even though his shoulders are slender.

he'll need it to anchor post position if or when he moves to the five.

I hope he keeps developing a back to the basket game in the meantime.

His main issue is his core strength. Just needs to develop that better and he will be fine. He shouldn't be adding much weight because he still needs to be light enough to glide across the court the way he does, it's what makes him so special as a 7'3" player. That mobility can easily be lost with added weight, even if it's all muscle. So for him, just mainly focus on that hip flexor and the quads.

This is ridiculous. The crying kid is getting so much publicity out of this despite his horrible behaviour
