Blatt interviewed with Houston yesterday so I don't think Phil is going to sign Blatt.

Larry Bird wants more offense. More ball movement. More of a motion. Maybe Rambis fits in with the Pacers??

Here is a good question that no one has answered yet:

Why isn't Kurt Rambis doing interviews for head coaching positions on other teams?

Probably because there's clearly better candidates out there and because of the stigma attached to the triangle offense. The offense is seen as slow and outdated, and teams these days want to spread the floor, play uptempo, and bomb threes. They want to play like GS. Rambis is seen as a triangle coach, and no team other than the Knicks wants to run the pure triangle. Once Phil's time is done here, I honestly think that we'll see the end of the triangle offense in the NBA. Some teams might use some of its principles here and there, but as a far as just running the pure triangle, I think it'll be a wrap for that offense in the NBA. Phil is under immense pressure to prove that the system he won 11 rings with back in the day can still work in today's NBA, but he has yet to prove it with the Knicks. As of right now, it's been generating way too many inefficient looks and it seems like it takes forever for the players to learn.

Because when the topic of Kurt Rambis pops up when coaching options are discussed, the overwhelming reaction among other NBA front offices is this...

Stop acting like fools guys. We're not going into the year with Rambis as the coach (unless we're tanking). Phil is just using him as leverage in negotiations. He also doesn't want to appear desperate for his image and to actual potential candidates. On top of this, he's doing his buddy Kurt a favor by raising his stock as a coach.

Watch Rambis be our coach and lead us to the playoffs. He's being trampled on so bad now that a 1st rd sweep will exponentially increase his value
