Too much repetition IMO. It would be nice if the Knicks were already set in the backcourt but would be too much unless Dirk is willing to take pocket change (and he wouldn't nor shouldn't) to come here.

IF the Knicks are looking for an older guy like Dirk it would make more sense to go hard after Wade. Honestly more likely Wade leaves Miami than Dirk leaves Dallas. And Wade both addresses a need and also potentially puts the Knicks in a position to be the landing spot for the "Superfriends".

Not saying that there's a real chance at Wade, just that it's more likely to get Wade than Dirk to sign.

Why would Dirk want to leave Dallas and come here

DIRK is going to the warriors, I am sure of it. If not then I wouldn't understand Durant going to the warriors unless he is absolutely ready to win over putting up career numbers. Besides, all the thunder have to do is play smarter and they can make it to the NBA finals like they should have this year. I think Durant at least signs a 1 year deal with O.K.C. but we'll see how this goes down. Westbrook should work on set up his teammates better and play smarter taking advantage of mismatches more often/conserve energy at times. It would be a big mistake for O.K.C. to break up that core. If Dirk goes to warriors, warriors regress and not because they are not more talented.

I hope he retires as Mavs. He already won a ring by himself. No need to chase it now.
