50+ wins is just too unlikely. It's like a parlay of Noah returning to form, rose returning to form, Carmelo being healthy, porzingis becoming a star this year, our bench not sucking, and no chemistry issues.

I think this thing is more likely to completely implode and turn into a finger pointing festival than end in a playoff victory

I'm not predicting 50 but I won't say it's out of the realm of possibility. Hornacek won 48 in Phoenix with a solid but not great team. He has better top talent on this team than he had there. I'm hoping for the best!

Coaches can only win a handful of games in the nba. It ultimately comes down to talent and shooting

If all those things were to play out perfectly, we would be a 65 win team

50 wins is not unlikely at all

Look at the East last year

Cavs won 57 games despite Kyrie missing 30 games

Raptors won 56 games despite being a very average team

Heat,Hawks,Hornets and Celtics all won 48 games last year and there was nothing special about any of them

I see a bunch of very average teams being 2 games away from 50 wins last season, there is absolutely no reason why this years Knicks can't be in that group.

I still feel like the Bulls planned on tanking, but the reaction to them dealing Rose was not what they expected (externally and internally), and then they pursued Wade.

Agreed and logical. The expectations are abysmally low here.
