knicks/celtics might be the most traditional rivalry in basketball

I always think of Celtics v Lakers when I think of great basketball rivalries.

When I think of the Knicks I think first of the Bulls because I grew up watching them destroy our dreams.

i thought he was impressive in summer league

He was great at attacking the basket and drawing fouls. Other than that i wasnt overly impressed, but it is only SL we're talking about.

Yeah we're gonna be a little better version of a Hawks. Better than the 48 win team, but obviously not as good as their 60 win team 2 years ago.

No doubt Porzingis has more potential, dude will be a stud. But Brown has a ton too.

As is - We're gonna be a great reg season team & should get to the semi's (top out loosing in ECF). But we're never gonna be a title contender as is. But we're in a good spot to make a move still, & thennn we can hopefully be in that convo.

As far as brown, I personally love the kid. Don't think he's a superstar, but he'll be very good. Got a dope personality though which is why a lot of ppl like him.

But the christmas day is gonna be good. We always have good games. That one game last year where Melo hurt himself was a helluva game. People diving throwing themselves on the court. Should be fun.

Brown reminds me a lot of Jason Richardson.

KP has more potential in being a superstar than anybody on that Celtics team. Let me know when they get that superstar player, or a young potential superstar player, cause until then, I ain't buying them at all in being a potential future title contender.

celtics board think they have the next westbrook in brown.

I was amazed at some of the bogus foul calls that went Browns way - yes he attacked the basket because he can't shoot but damn he was getting some crazy "benefit" foul calls in Utah/Vegas games.

If true, I can absolutely see Celtics @ Knicks kicking off the X-Mas day schedule at 12:00pm

I know this should probably go in the schedule thread but this appears to be the Christmas day lineup:

Celtics-Knicks
Bulls-Spurs
Warriors-Cavs
Twolves-Thunder
Clippers-Lakers

Should be fun.
