I'm pissed I didn't get a breaking news alert.

And there was another explosion earlier today at a Marine 5K run in a New Jersey this morning. This world is going to **** - it's a scary world we live in.

Hope everyone here and those affected in ANY way are ok.

It was on the news here in Japan before it hit the news in the States. (Had to search to find a link in English.) Still trying to find out if my relatives in the area are okay. (I'm betting they're fine, but still....)

I hope they're ok. Thankfully the reported injuries aren't major and are mostly a result of broken glass.

Three friends of my friends were close as well and they're ok.

It's being reported in the Japanese news now as a terrorist act, with 29 injured (1 seriously). Everyone I know is safe. Again, best wishes to everyone.

Wondering if it's the same person who planted the explosion in Central Park (July) which blew the foot off the kid.

I work a couple of blocks away from here, so this report has me on edge. There are all kinds of agendas at work at the present time.

Maybe you have some sick days coming to you. If so, I'd take a few mental health days and let the NYPD bomb squad do its job.
