OT: Comedians...who cracks you up?

Getting a little depressing with our team stinking it up for another year...

anyone got any good comedians they can recommend checking out?

I saw Sebastian Maniscalco last week live and I don't think I ever laughed so hard in my life.
He is definitely one of those guys that you need to check out in person. The videos are good, but in person he literally had every person in the venue crying.

Bill Burr has the current crown for me. My favorite all time is the late Patrice O'neal. For stand-up heads there's a podcast called Kill Tony I really like; Tony Hinchcliffe (a comedy central roast writer and Joe Rogan protege) has a couple of well known comedians on a panel for an open mic where he picks comedians' names out of a hat to go on stage for a one minute set. The real comedy is in the interviews after the sets but there's also good material for comedy writing and developing your voice throughout.

I can't wait for Chappelle's return on Netflix. I saw him at the Oddball comedy festival a few years ago and he slayed for an hour with crowd work and all. Ironically, I saw Louis CK the year after and he was really good as well.

I got to see Louis CK live once, it was a surprise. We were watching one of those comedy juice shows they give every Tuesdays, and the MC was like "Up next, Louis CK." We were sitting right by the stage and were like NO WAY, and he comes out, first thing he says was that he saw two rats ****, lost it, was psyched. Will never forget. He was trying some stuff out for a tour.

Louis CK - huge fan for years, just saw him live this past September..amazing

One of his previous specials had me dying. Forgot the name, but he talks about how his family welcomes visitors with open arms and nowadays folks will turn off the lights hoping you leave. What's wrong with people? I think.
