I wouldn't love it, but if he got signed for 2 more years and wound up playing on the Knicks until age 32, I think his game would age well enough. I think 30-32 years old can still be in a PG's "prime", but the tail end of it of course.

Yeah, I get he played on a "contender/winner" and he can run the floor, but his shot is broken forever. D'Antoni's offense needs guys who MAKE shots. I don't quite get the allure of a little bit of defense and a sort of crappy offensive game on a contract that still isn't that great, new CBA or not, and still has a few years.

Half the team is rebuild.

The other half is compete for 8th spot.
