OT: Anyone hear listen to audio books?

Post#1 » by Nostrand Ave » Thu Apr 13, 2017 8:04 pm

I've been trying to get into self help books. And I figure I could obtain the information faster by getting audio books and listen to them on my commute. It seems this is not the case because I often doze off. I don't follow the set up the book like I would if I were reading. So I'm listening to points from chapter 2 and then all of sudden I'm on chapter 4 because I was checking out a girl on train.

How are you guys able to follow when listening to audio books? I think I'm going to have to buy actual books and maybe use audiobooks just to reviewing purposes.

Yeah that's what happens when you listen to audio books. I stopped bothering with them. If I want to read something I just go buy the book and read it.

Whether audio audiobooks or eBooks, iTunes & Audible are superior both for support, infrastructure, and reliability. You can listen to them or read them on your train/bus rides to and from work or binge on weekends.

Also, if you're an Amazon Prime member, you get free access to Audible I believe.
