Take That For Data

Post#1 » by MrProb » Tue Apr 18, 2017 8:09 am

Fizdale went OFF on refs

https://streamable.com/xnihh

Refs are ridiculous these days, I turned off a few games because of ridiculous officiating.

We need more guy like Fizdale.

There will be ppl saying "shouldn't come down to refs deciding the game" hell no, Basketball is a game of momentum and when refs are giving another team all the momentum they needed what can you do ? suck it up and keep playing ? basically, let the bad refs do what they do best which is bad officiating ?

I feel you, Fizdale, $20k well spent.

I wish Woodson said this in Game 6 of the 2013 playoffs against Indiana. I thought we were robbed, they let Indiana play physical defense, we did the same and got called for everything. Think Indi had damn near 50 ft attempts. I mean 50 in a regulation game is insane. I was pissed no one in the media said anything about the ft disparity.

And yes, Im still not over it :(

he's right in almost all aspects. i like how he brought up conley because he doesn't go crazy. that's why guys like harden, curry, lebron, etc. get a **** load of FTs. they're **** babies.

i like this coach.

Good for fiz. I wanted him to call out each ref by name and go even more bonkers, just like JVG did back in the Rockets days. To date, he got the largest fine ever imposed on a coach, 100K.

Didn't pay attention to yesterday game as it got out of hand in the first and I turned it off. I don't know the numbers or care to look at the numbers in free throws for game 1, but the officiating in that game was clearly one sided after the Grizzles jumped out to that early lead.

Which is one of the reason why JVG is my fav. coach ever.

You are in for a surprise then, Steph is actually getting bad officiate against him A LOT. Especially in the playoffs.

Steph is probably one of the most disadvatage super star in terms of benefit as one from the refs, in fact he probably has it worse than Melo

They have a 1,001 cameras aimed at the court at any given point...there should be a way to build a software application that can make pretty much all the calls that refs are making right now...and more accurately.

Hmmm...mind...churning...

Game is rigged man, even footbal(soccer) is.

There's no reason not to use replay to help officiating. You control the refs, you control the game.

I just fell in love with a coach.

When can he replace Jeff?

I could have sworn they were developing something like that. Maybe I'm thinking of baseball. I heard this years ago..

Knicks luck, they make the finals in 2030 and the system gets hacked. Sending LeBron Jr. to the line 140 times throughout the series, enabling a clean sweep for the Las Vegas Aces. As a washed up Porzingis gets boo'd off the Garden floor.

Ain't gonna lie. One of the reasons why I lost a lot of interest in the NBA lately is because of the refs. They are just beyond terrible and biased. Also, I am finding that the playoffs are just an extension of the regular season with little to no change in who wins which leads to the same teams competing for the championship each year; so it's pretty boring. After watching the NFL playoffs and the NCAA tournament, I got spoiled to see what real competition and entertainment looks like.
