Having all these 3 would be a lot better than having just whoever falls to us at # 8 - whether Monk, Isaac or Tatum?

What you say?

no, that is impossible

1. Keep # 8
2. Trade for # 10 from Sacramento for Lee (veteran leadership), OQuinn, 2 2nd rounds and Kuz.
3. Get # 15 from Portland by taking a bad contract

I answer my own question LOL

So NYK will have #8, 10 and 15. YAY we go!!!!
In short, all I am saying is RJ-Brunson-Grimes-Quickley-Randle are the untouchables moving forward.

All this pain this year, a few meaningless wins and...feast your heart out, Luke Kennard!

This (Please Use More Appropriate Word) org is something else.

Just curious does anyone know who frank was suggesting was going to be our pick during the KP draft two years ago? Frank usually has sources just not within the knicks. So I wonder how accurate we think this is...

xNewYorkMadex wrote:I'll say this, id rather have Luke Kennard than Malik Monk.

Luke can ball, hes comfortable putting the ball on the floor, good instincts and IQ. I like his versatility more than Monk. If Monk is struggling, he may not be able to help in other facets of the game. Luke can grab some boards, and might be better at finding the open man more often.

Wouldnt be mad if we draft him at all. Not sure if he has all-star potential, but he can get there if he keeps working on his handle and attacking/finishing around the rim. Maybe its a lazy comparison because they are both lefties, but he reminds me of Manu a bit.

His defense is trash though. Rather pick him in the teens with the 8th because of his defense. Hopefully we can acquire another 1st and select him.

Maybe Phil already has something in the works for trading C.Lee which is why he has the interest in Kennard, because if we trade C.Lee and Melo then what shooters are we left with?? KP and...............??

Is Ntlikina really suited to play PG in the NBA?

I dont know. I think he may have more success as a SG. Not in love with him being the primary handler. Dont love his 1st step or handle like that. I would feel more comfortable drafting him if we played him at SG and acquire/draft another PG down the line.

Listen the Knicks need all the talent they can muster through this draft. If Frank Nicotine or whatever can be a good PG or SG I'll take it. I DO like his size and wingspan because it helps create mismatches and on defense he'll be good help on a double.

We have a winner. Nicotine it is...although I still have a soft spot for Lickintina.
