Two 2nd round picks that deserve playing time, if not starting roles. Thank you, Phil.

Kennard is also very crafty on Offense.

I've only seen two games with him, but I liked what I saw. Hopefully he can be a legit gunner.

Kennard got a little Allan Houston in his game. Will be fun to see him play certain nights.

I  how quick he can get his shot off! He's got the size and build to continue to do it in the NBA.

He reminds me a little of Wilson Chandler and Jeff Green the way he flows in a Game.

Would be nice to see someone hit those open corner threes consistently for a change.

Scouts in Orlando marveled at Dotson’s NBA-ready body, saying he was a keeper. Ousted Knicks president Phil Jackson selected him with the No. 44 overall pick on June 22.

“I feel I can knock down open 3s and definitely space out the floor, rebound and play defense,’’ Dotson said. “I’m not too sure about [my role], but I feel like I can put myself in a new position to get on the court and be a great teammate. But I feel like it’s a great position for anybody to be drafted and be in the NBA.”

Dotson has worked out with James Harden in Houston.

“I’m still adjusting here. I haven’t been in a real NBA game,’’ he said. “I have to see how the speed goes in training camp and practices.’’

Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek loves shooters, so he’s open to falling in love fast with Dotson, who averaged 12.8 points per game in Orlando.

“Damyean can really shoot the ball,’’ Hornacek said. “He’s athletic. The games sometimes gets a little fast when he’s thinking what’s the next [step] when he should shoot the ball. That’s all stuff we can work with him on. He showed he can really stroke it from deep. Shooting is huge, another weapon we can get on the court. He gets an open look, it’s a good chance he’ll make it.’’

Dotson has potential to be a stout defender, too, with his size and strength. During the five-game stretch, Dotson did get lost tactically at times.

“I’m still adjusting, still stuff to get used to on the defensive end,’’ Dotson said. “The defensive spacing and rotations. It’s so spaced out with multiple pick-and-rolls.

“I think I’ll be able to [defend]. I can’t stop anybody, but I can contain him. So I just got to keep getting better at that, getting better laterally, get quicker, so I feel like if I could get stronger laterally, I feel like I’ll be able to contain guys.”

Harden visited University of Houston practices because former Rockets assistant Kelvin Sampson now leads the Cougars. Harden torched him in one pickup game, Dotson admitted. If he’s back in Houston for an extended stay, Dotson plans to give Harden a call.

“I’ll try to find a way to get in touch with him,’’ Dotson said. “He definitely taught me about poise and the pick and roll. He came to a few practices, taught us how to use the pick-and-roll and the passes and play through mistakes.’’

Dotson enrolled at Houston after he was kicked out of Oregon after two years as he faced a rape allegation. Charges never were brought.
