100000000% we have SO MANY holes on this team to go QB.... just play the year out with Jones and most likely we'll be picking top 8 anyway

Right. We aren't winning jack sh*t next season, and I'm fine with that. All i want to see is the team fight hard every week and some youth development of the guys we have now.

again I can't say what I would do because the QB position is so important...but if they really like one of the QB's...get the QB and reset the clock.

Also getting one of the elite WR's in the class is a fine option as well.

The Panthers really liked Bryce Young last year and did what they needed to do to get him.

well you just have to hope you don't have an owner (Tepper) that knows nothing about QB evaluations overrule your coach that wanted CJ Stroud.

If they did that no one would be talking about it being a big time mistake to go get the QB. You have to get the right one.

I also don't think Bryce Young was set up to succeed in Carolina either...Texans were a much better situation in terms of draft capital to get talent around Stroud.

it wouldn't surprise me if Nabers goes before MHjr at this point. He had a monster career at LSU, with that pedigree of WR's that come out of there + these combine numbers....holy crap.

I think the general consensus is that Nabers is the more freaky athlete and therefore has the higher ceiling, but MHJ is the most bust-proof guy in the class

And it's not like he doesn't have a high ceiling either, it's just Nabers has a slight edge there.

The Pats had there whole coalition there too from GM to Coach...my guess if the commanders pass the Pats will turn that card in faster then the Giants can put in a phone call to ask them to trade up.

They did the same with other QBs. A lot of reports say the like Maye and JJ as well.

Washington was biggest hurdle for Daniel’s to get past.

they either really like this kid or this is the greatest smoke screen ever to have a team trade up in front of us so 4 QB's go in the top 4-5 picks so that MHjr or Nabers falls to us. I guess we will find out in a month.

It's a dirty game this time of year. I hope we get MHJr or Nabors, we can grab a developmental QB after that if need be.

I'm fine going into the season with Jones and Drew Lock. We aren't winning next year, but we CAN improve.

understood, but I keep going back if they think they have found the right QB you take the QB. You don't know where you are going to land in the draft next year...and as much as there are some great WR's....I feel like we say that every draft now. A justin jefferson comes out, and Jamar Chase comes out, a Garrett Wilson comes out. As much as I think Nabers is going to be a stud. Great WR's without having the QB situation figured out usually isn't conducive to winning.

And this is coming from someone who likes Daniel Jones and think he can be a solid to good QB in the league...but even if you believe in his abilities its tough to believe in his long term health at this point. He's one more big hit away with 2 neck injuries from being out of the league.

So I can't blame the Giants for evaluating all the QB's and seeing if one is worthy of a selection.

Ultimately the new QB choice will make or break this regime. And you just never know what next years class is going to look like. So that is why I keep saying...evaluate them all and if you really think one is the goods and he's available for you to select....do it.

But going stud WR is also a fine option as well if you don't think a QB is worth it.
