One of my favorite things about this league is how my mutual respect for other members of the forum has gone up as I watch them work through their processes and see those approaches working - and in some cases far better than mine.

I suspect this is why the beefs have gone down over time. It's fun to talk **** but there really isn't a player in the game where I can't see a method to the madness. I'm ever grateful that Mags recruited me to be a party to this experiment. Best game on the web.

But enough sweet talk. Time to get down to folding Blue Note Records.

I learned not to engage in intense trade negotiations while being high as a kite. fun times

Seriously, this game is a ton of fun, my first season went about as well as I figured it would go, I appreciate being invited to play. I still have a lot to learn about this with the offseason coming. I appreciate bish for his patience, and the folks on here who would PM me unprompted to answer questions, offer advice, etc. BaF is just another thing that I love about this community.

Having to find a way to build a playoff team around KAT and OG is my goal for next season. Not a bad thing at all really. Hopefully both players get a boost in next year's sim.

Good game, man. Still a lot of basketball left to be played in this series. We can’t let our guard down. We know y’all will fight like a wounded animal in Miami at home.

Been insanely busy this month, so haven't been able to stay active down the stretch, unfortunately. But looking forward to making some serious noise next year. Have quite a bit of flexibility heading into the offseason, with a great core in place and (HOPEFULLY) a boost to Chet.

We coming.

The Toronto Raptors scored 35 points in the first quarter, once again jumping out to an early large lead and holding onto it, defeating the Miami Heat, taking a 2-0 lead in the first round in the Eastern Conference Playoffs.

The victory maintains homecourt advantage for Toronto, as they protected their house at Scotiabank Arena in Ontario, Canada.

Victor Wembanyama dominated, yet received plenty of help, as seven Raptors scored in double-figures. The favorite for the Rookie of the Year award stood out as a bonafide generational talent, as he put the team on his back and stood head and shoulders above everyone else on the court (no pun intended).

The series now shifts to Florida, with Miami looking to prevent Toronto from taking a pivotal game 3, as they attempt to get back in the series in front of their home crowd.

Victor Wembanyama
33 PTS | 14-23 FG | 1-3 3PT | 10 REB | 2 AST

Rudy Gobert
18 PTS | 5-5 FG | 8-8 FT | 6 REB | 3 AST | 1 BLK

Trae Young
15 PTS | 6 AST | 4 REB | 1 STL

Devin Vassell
12 PTS | 4-8 FG | 2-5 3PT | 6 REB | 6 AST | 1 BLK | 1 STL

De’Andre Hunter
11 PTS | 5-8 FG | 1-1 3PT | 7 REB | 1 STL

Christian Wood
11 PTS | 5-7 FG | 1-1 3PT

Miles Bridges
10 PTS | 1-2 3PT | 7 REB | 2 STL

Looks like Charlotte was too busy worried about Toronto and has overlooked Cleveland (I tried to warn him not to sleep on Melo’s team).

Charlotte barely squeaked out a win over the Cavs in game 1, then loses homecourt advantage in game 2.

Ya luv tuh c it!

So it turns out that SGA is a damn problem, we definitely need to address that.

knew the team would be rusty with so much time off but had a good victory in game one and got plenty of 4th qtr rest for my rotational players. Really impressed with the team getting 24 "stocks". Shows how much we have improved defensively. We finished top 10 in the league on defense and I know before the trades I was nowhere near that level. While maintaining the #1 offense.

SGA and Brown are just owning me right now, SGA made my back court foul out. Perhaps I got to cute with the lineup in the second game. Things aren't looking good here.

I had wondered if you'd try Okogie.

We'll see what happens in Salt Lake. I backdoor swept the Mavs last year so no complacency. You don't have a lot of perimeter D options which is why I'd been surprised at your previous dominance over us. We can just spam my Big 2. You're hard to stop though.

Based on the injury report, our guys are taking the rivalry to heart :(

Can't lie, without Randle for game three is definitely not ideal.

For sure, that sucks. Him going off is/was a substantial concern for me.

Orlando running the table and winning it all so I get the last pick in the draft would really put a bow on one hell of a season for me.

Suns have a roster crunch (5 picks in the draft) and want to move these rotation players for cheap.

Favorite for “6th man of the year” award
- Bogdan Bogdanovich- $109/3 years

One of the best defensive guards in the league
- Davion Mitchell- $39/1 year

21 year old wing showing improvement
- Moses Moody- $33/1 year

21 year old stretch power forward
- Caleb Houstan- $18/3 years

23 year old defensive wing w/team option
- MarJon Beauchamp- $16/1(2) years

* Also open to move one of my picks for a future 1st
I will likely have picks 14, 17, & 23 available
