New Yorks GM search?

Post#1 » by The Rebel » Sun Jun 8, 2008 8:50 pm

I looked but could not find any reference to New York's current GM search. I know last I heard Warkentein was in the running, but have hear nothing else, so I would love to hear what people think the chances are that he is hired, or who you want hired for the job.

I think Walsh will control that position for awhile. Then possibly give it back to Isiah.

After the draft or before the draft? Most likely it will happen after the draft. Walsh also said that he doesn't need a GM right now since Glen was doing a pretty decent job. Maybe Glen could get a promotion.

After the draft Walsh will focus on the GM whether he retains Grunwald or brings in some else (perhaps Bickerstaff or King) as reported in Newsday about 10 days ago.

I like Grunwald, as a Raptor fan. Smart business man (I believe he ran the Toronto Chamber of Commerce between gigs with us and you) who really does know the game.
