i'm still up in the air with darko. i havent really been a huge fan of his. i guess the salary cap relief is good but what do we get back? what about warrick? if he was added on to the equation that would probably make me happier.

it doesn't matter talent wise what we get back. we open playing time for gallo at the 4, and we get fantastic cap relief. and it can let curry get comfortable offensively.

i'd keep toine, he may be good under this system. and he's really funny anyway. darko's an **** but he may have some potential.

For Lee too. Definitely not about the talent...but about the cap relief. Darko could have a role on this team for the next couple of seasons too. DO THIS SHYT!

Its funny that when I wanted us to sign 2 years ago when he was leaving Orlando I was chastised for it. :roll:

Darko might not be an allstar but he is no softie. I'd like to see:

Milicic
Gallinari
Chandler
Crawford
Robinson

That lineup would look oh so good on offense and actually have inside defense.

Actually Darko is still a pansy ass scrub. The only reason anyone would want him is because his contract expires in 2010.

Last I heard, darko's injured. Does anyone know if he's even going to play this year?

As far as the trade - Memphis is debating it, meaning, it might not happen.

time will tell.

I dont know how Dannilo is going to be able to play the 4. I doubt hes been able to add any muscle nursing a back injury. Seeing how he couldnt last a full summer league game these are high hopes for this season. Think of DG along with the 2010 Plan. He needs time to develop. Kinda hard when you cant stay upright.

He ran into a fat guy & hasn't dribbled a damn ball since. I doubt he can bang with some of the other PFs in this division, let alone this league.

Hello Knick's fans,

This would be an awesome deal if its Toine and Darko for Zbo. That leaves us a little room to play with and you guys can drop Toine next year with the team option. Darko is a cheap serviceable big man that's coming off the books when it's time for the Big Boys to resign. But to be honest, I don't know if Darko will ever get it. He is a good defensive prescence but his offense is still lacking even in a fun and gun system that he will already be adapted to. Maybe it's the quality of players that will make him thrive in the same system with you guys. You have a lot of veterans versus a lot of young guys with us. But anyways, I hope this deal gets done so it doesn't look like we just sat on our tails and did nothing. In my opinion, you have to do what's necessary to win each year versus waiting a year to get a player that I don't think would be worth $20M in 09 free agency. If this was the 2010 free agency, then do what's necessary to get a quality star to fill the seats. But I hope it's done soon for both of our sakes.

It's going to be interesting what the Knicks do with Gallinarri and Chandler, because both of them are pure 3's. I don't think either can really play the 4 full-time. The good thing is that both have potential to be good players in the league.

Getting rod of Randolph would be good though. This would be a great trade for the Knicks, because they need a shotblocker badly.
