Lions are just like the Phoenix Cardinals

Since there is revenue sharing, the owners just have to put a team on the fiels to rake in the immense profits.

the teams dont have to be good - just capable of playing games.

Neither team has been any good in decades & neither spends much on player slaries.

The Fords & the Bidwells have become immensely rich - while the fans of both teams suffer greatly. The Hunts in Kansas City are another family putting profit above the fans. However, the Chiefs have not been as bad as the Lions & Cardinals for so long.
The gem cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials.

It is about damn time, the Lions are my second favorite team (Behind the Giants of course) and each time he drafted a WR in the 1st round i wanted to kill him. Of the four he took in the 1st stanza: Rogers= bust, Mike WIlliams= bust, Calvin has been a beast as has Roy. I could never get over who he hired to be the head coach, from Morthinweg to Marinelli, ridiculous. I am happy to see the Lions are have some hope now.

He should have gotten the Isiah treatment because of the embarrassment he turned that franchise into. Double-standard in effect for sure.

What are you talking about? Do some research. And what is Isiah treatment anyway? Getting paid $7 million a year to scout?

Red Vines, Matt Millen is a laughingstock. He didn't get the vitriol launched at him that IT did because a) it's detroit, not the world's greatest city like NYC, and b) the Lions have always sucked, they have no proud history like the Knicks.

It has nothing to do with race. Millen is a joke, IT is a joke, it's as simple as that.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Millen got flack from his own fans. Just look up how many protests they did for this guy.

Um, so a walkout during a game doesn't mean anything? That never even happened to Isiah. The Detroit fans HATED Millen. Seriously, what the hell are you talking about?

All it took was for the owners son to do an interview saying if he had power Millen would be fired already. Then the next day he's gone. If thats all it takes...........

Hopefully James Dolans' son is smarter than his dad.

He should have drafted small forwards instead of wide receivers in the first round. Instead of being fired he could have been reassigned and scouted the next lottery pick and picked the coach. Lions fans are lucky that the nfl has the salary structure they do or Millen's reign could have been as damaging as a certain sexual harrassing, throw my guys under the bus, liar last seen scouting the Knicks first round pick.
