OT: Old School NYC hip hop radio shows

Post#1 » by Big Dawg » Sun Sep 28, 2008 11:03 pm

I'm getting tired of listening to soulja boy and lil wayne. Does anybody know of a website where you can get copies of the old hip hop shows on the radio in the 80's. Like the Worlds Famous Supreme team, awesome two, DR Rock and the force mc's, Chuck Chilout, red alert, Marley Marl, Latin Rascals. I am dying to hear some stuff like JoeSKiLove or Ultimate 3 MC's, cold crush brothers. crash crew, fearless four or Gran Puba's first group Masters of Ceremony or weststreet mob Any help is greatly appreciated
Peace

Radio -- I only listen to that to kill time...not for content...

Check one of the music sites on here:

99.5 (I think) WBAI used to have a radio show called the Underground Railroad on Saturday's at midnight I think. If you're not out getting drunk it's a good listen. A lot of underground sh*t, funk cuts etc. Awesome stuff.

Clyde Drexler, called Oakley a dirty player. Told of Drexler’s comment, Oak said, “He can blow me.”
