OT: Question for Parents of toddlers...

Post#1 » by rrosario35 » Sat Oct 4, 2008 4:34 pm

Would any of you know of a place where I can take my wife, 3 yr old boy & 1 yr old daughter. I'm looking for a place where we can eat and the kids can have fun... something kid oriented... like Chuck E Cheese but not. The Chuck E Cheese by me is so ghetto & crowded it makes me sick & want to avoid all Chuck E's... But something like that where we can all eat but the kids would have fun. I googled "Child Oriented restaurants" but really am not finidng much that would fit the bill.

Go to the Children's Museum in Manhattan. Or the Hall of Science in Queens. Also check gocitykids.com for more options.

Try Mars 2112 restaurant In Manhattan near Times Square. They also have an arcade to play games after you eat. My son had a birthday party there and all of the kids loved it. See this website.

I have a three-year-old girl and an 8-week-old son. I was curious about this subject myself a few months ago and I ended up finding this NY Mag Web page and bookmarking it.
Hopefully, this helps.
