that we should just cut ties with Marbury...He obvoiusly is not happy with his role...Why even risk any distractions? I would be willing to have a younger player who isn't nearly as talented playing in his spot...especially because we have a coach who knows what he is doing

I think Donnie is playing it the right way.

You can't look at the way Steph played last night and say he didn't give it his all. Keep playing him - if he performs keep playing him some more until we get to the trade deadline or the end of the year.

If Marbury were to play and have a solid year this year - a HUGE if. I don't know that the Knicks wouldn't consider a short term extension because his body still looks great and he's still moving great. I don't see how he's obviously not happy with his role.

Yeah, if he continues to buy into the program, and plays within the system, keep milking him for what he's worth. But we need to keep a short leash. He could go off at any second, and I hope Donnie won't tolerate stuff we would have let slide years ago.

if we are going to cut him, it would only be right to do so an hour before tip off in our season opener. Embarrass and abandon him the same way he did to us when he left us high and dry in Cali last year.
