OT: Thoughts on CC Sabathia Offer?

i would like to say that i am not a part of the "yankees suck" baby crowd. i think that chant is pathetic and whenever i went to shea it would make me sick!

IDK about this signing. CC doesn't look like a NY kind of guy. I can really see him start to get injured after signing the contract...

not a yankee fan (met fan), but I like seeing both teams do well. I wouldn't sign CC to a long term deal. A long term guaranteed deal makes a player grow complacent. You don't want someone that fat to get complacent. Then they become David Wells.

Yankees really should try to get Fuentes, then they would be set for set-up men. Then maybe try to get some lefty specialists, and trade away Damon or Matsui. I wouldn't spend that much money on CC unless the later years of his deal were compliant with a team option, or some sort of body fat clause.
