Harden is a very good defender. And he has a very efficient offensive game.

the way we're playing, i would say around 9-14 range. of course with a slim shot at 1.

I think we'll just miss the playoffs and return to the lottery, but I wouldn't be surprised if I was proven wrong. It looks like the consensus is BPA even if it is a center or SF.

Top 5 picks this year:

Jennings
Derozan
Evans
Griffin
Mullen

if Jennings is half decent he will be a top 3 pick because he will be playing against grown men.

You go best player available, with what the knicks have so far you need to just acquire talent. After 2010, we know what we have what needs to be done to make the team a contender. I think the knicks will end up getting a pick somewhere in the 9-14 range, so all those big names won't be available. Now the question is if the knicks get the #1 pick, who do you get? If Blake Griffin measures out to 6'10 or so he would be the no brainer, that dude is a stud.(nohomo)

The east is so bad our team can sneak into the playoffs. Especially if Carter or Redd get Phantom injuries after the deadline.

A center that looks intriguing is the freshman center from Georgetown, named Greg Monroe. I did not hear any hype from him coming out into college, and I will admit I have not seen him play yet but his stats were pretty good for the first 2 games of the season, even though the competition was not so great, but you compare that to BJ Mullin's first game stats, Monroe looks to be alot better.

Greg Monroe 6'11 250lbs
FG FT points rebounds assists steals blocks
11/17 Jacksonville 6-10 2-3 14 7 1 3 4
11/22 Drexel 7-9 6-6 20 8 4 3 3

Monroe isn't going to come out, that is why no one is talking about him.

I don't see why not- as long as they're not plodding centers like a lopez or hibbert, because they're going to have to be able to run. mullens and thabeet are actually both pretty athletic and can run well for big men. anyway I agree with bpa besides sf- let's not become the hawks with their pfs or the sonics with their centers, drafting them in like 5 consecutive years.

I think we should trade Danilo Gallinari or David Lee (in a sign=and-trade) for somebody's 2010 pick, in case one of these guys waits an extra year to come out.

We need a big man with huge upside, and can block a few shots that comes his way. either a center or power forward would do just fine.

We need to draft a big. Everytime I try to convince myself that you don't need a center to win in this league, I have lock out season flash backs of LJ trying to go up against Duncan/Robinson in the finals.

do you think blake griffin can play center in the nba? he won't block shots though and seems more like a carlos boozer.

Was he hyped more than BJ Mullens? Mullens was ranked #1 on Rivals.
