Wow.

If Vince goes to the Cavs for Szerbiak I would die laughing.

That would be the equivalent of Rod Thorn giving the Knicks a big FU.

Then mo Williams would become expandable in a trade next year.

Carter AND Lebron on the same team? Thats nasty.

Plenty of other free agents in 2010. I'd be content with Amare or Bosh at Center with Chandler at PF and Gallo at SF.

Yeah but I wouldnt "die laughing" if Carter was traded to the Cavs I would pretty pissed off.

Carter doesn't have half the heart & passion that LeBron does. Wince would just fade away in Bron's spotlight. I seriously don't think that adding Carter would make the Cavs better.

This deal wont happen, for the same reason they didnt want Zach. They would be giving cap space to a team that would go after their prized possession with it, and would also make it so they wouldnt be able to sign a free agent to try to lure LeBron.

I dont think LeBron and Vince would be a good pairing anyway, both players dominate the ball way to much. The more I think about it, this trade would be good for the Knicks, this wouldnt work out and would lock the Cavs up financially, and there is no way that LeBron James would leave the Cavs to go play for the Newark Nets, Newark would be an even smaller market than Cleveland.

I dont think highly enough of Carter to think him and bron would equal a ring. That would be the only reason to make a deal and it wouldnt be worth it.

Many around the league think New Jersey will make Vince Carter available at the trade deadline. Cleveland is rumored to be a suitor in waiting.

Am I the only one that reads this and doesn't think much of it. Sounds like a rumor the post would put up.

Agreed. But even the other angle doesn't work. Cleveland needs a beast of a post player, not another wing like Wince. They really should have dealt with us for Z-Bo.
