They can't pass up Roberson. A Roberson and Fernandez off the bench equals raining buckets...all day...or at least when they're out there on the court.

A Curry and Oden frontcourt is beastly. With David Lee and it's just outright dominating. Or should I say formidable. You hear that Boston?

Malik Rose brings veteran leadership to a team that barely has any vets.

Too good to pass up.

- If Portland would want Lee, that means they'd be commited to paying him in the offseason, which kind of takes them out of being a player in 2010 free agency. Curry's gotta be packaged in any trade for Lee. This is the only way I'd accept losing Lee and the intangibles he brings without getting a legit big man back (which Frye is not).

:LOL: Sometimes I just wonder how these threads rub off on people from other forums. Having giving a serious answer unless we can squeeze out LaFrentz while dumping a bad contract IE: Curry, Jefferies, or squeeze in a talent like Batum, Fernandez, Outlaw or Bayless there is not much to a trade.

We considered Sergio with a trade exemption, but it looks like the Spanish Duo is going to live on for another day.

As much as I like Lee as a player, we most likely wouldn't want him on Portland as he'll be asking for a pretty big contract at the end of the season at the same time that Roy and LA might be extended. Also, that LA + Rudy trade proposal is disgraceful...

Well, that's what makes having to entertain a Rodriguez for Lee swap fair. The safe assumption is when you come here with a ridiculous trade offer, you'll be countered with a more ridiculous one.

I dont think Portland will give up what NYK would want for Lee. KP is probably the alst GM in the league you could swindle into taking Curry.

I would offer Frye, Sergio, Ike and 2009 1st for Lee. Or, if Webster comes back strong and cuts into Outlaw's minutes, I could live with Outlaw, Sergio and Ike for Lee.
