I actually like the idea of trying to bring Stackhouse here which has been talked about. I guess you can consider that taking a chance on a player. Malik for Stackhouse? I'd do it in a second. It's not much of a risk. Malik is useless, Stackhouse is a capable vet 2 guard, and his contract is done after next year. We can use a guy like him being that Mobley looks like he's done. Let's make that happen.

I would trade Malik for Watson and a 2nd rounder in a heartbeat. He could be Duhon 2.0 in our system though our backcourt would be a little too small.

Kirk Hinrich @ SG if we could dump Curry's contract.

Ewing Jr. isnt a third of the player Tyrus Thomas is. If he was so good, he would be on a roster right now. The Rockets traded him for Frederick Weis. A lot of people in the NBA can jump and dunk, but Tyrus Thomas has shown flashes of brilliance. Ewing Jr. is a poor mans James White.

So, tell me what Tyrus Thomas does three times as good as Pat Ewing Jr?!? Passing? Good one. Defending? Except for shot blocking TT isn't anything special on defense. Shooting? Mmmh. What else?!? Seriously, I wouldn't take Ewing Jr over TT either but saying that they are in entirely different worlds in terms of their games is just ridiculous. Thomas was overdrafted, got a lot of hype and isn't living up to anything that was expected of him. Ewing Jr would be cheap, a much smarter player and a fan favorite.

And what flashes of brilliance did he show?!? Ewing in his preseason game against NJ also showed flashes of brilliance so what...

Point is, TT isn't anything special and if I have to choose between the two, considering price, value and situation, give me Ewing all the way.
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...

Quick Tidbit regarding Lampe

Now, Maciej is playing in the Russin top club BC Khimki. On February 2008, Khimki beat CSKA Moscow in the Russian cup final and Maciej was awarded the best player (MVP) of the cup final.

Maciej has now signed a three year contract with BC Khimki.

Nice to see it worked out for him.

Oh god, no. Keep that dude the hell away from this team. Can't shoot, has a *way* crappy attitude, and he'll not outgrow that anytime soon.

wwtsm wrote:Call me crazy, but I think JR Smith would be a nice addition to this team as well. He's never been given a real shot to be a key player on a team, but he's proven many times that he's a very capable scorer and he would have the chance to do so on a team where Al Harrington is currently the first option.

Ugh. Puke, What is it with you and bad attitude guys. I hate that dude Smith. So does KarlAss, btw, and he's starting for the team.

Darko
Brandon Rush
Randy Foye
Rashad McCants (who actually might be attainable with that trade exception.)
Sergio Rodriguez (ditto)

tyrus thomas is a box of dumb, he wouldn't excel here.

 It's funny because it's true.

However, lol at JJ Scrubick. He might do well in a D'Antoni offense (and I don't think he would), but what a freakin' liability on D.

Kareem Rush and JJ Reddick. And of course Mike Miller, I feel so bad for him. He just can't get on a good team.
RIP Jared Jeffries. Gone but never forgotten...2006-2012
