Marion, Dirk, McGrady, Arenas, the usual answers.

I don't think he's the MOST overrated but I think Joe Johnson is overrated a bit. I don't think he's a star.

AI as everyone's mentioned, for the reasons everyone's mentioned.

Allan Iverson should be the undisputed #1, followed by Arenas and Marion. T-Mac is often injured, but he's still a great player.

Micheal Redd wow he's probably the most 1 way player IN THE HISTORY OF THE NBA :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

Amare Stoudemire do people realize this dude has never averaged a double-double for a season :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

Lamar Odom he supposedly can do it all but never does it all :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

Shawn Marion can't perform independently of a point guard who'll treat him like a baby :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

Andre Iguodala will he ever score more than 20pts/gm for a season :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

I'd say Amare, as guys like Marion, TMac, and Arenas are obvious choices. For someone with his physical gifts, the guy is a bad defender and a pretty poor rebounder.

I think Vince Carter and T-Mac are extremely underrated considering all of the unnecessary **** they get. It isn't their fault that their teammates are terrible. I don't know why you expect T-Mac to lead a team with Alston as his starting PG past the first round. Or his terrible teams on Orlando where Drew Gooden was the next best player. Vince is just extremely underrated. If he hadn't quit on Toronto he would still be there and be miserable. You can disagree with what he did, but clearly it did its job to get him out of Toronto.

I would say Dirk is overrated. He had an extremely stacked team in Dallas, and throughout his tenure there he just proved that he is a very good #2 option but can't be a #1 on a championship team.

Jamison would also get my vote, but I don't think any of you think he is that good or a star.

People forget about how good he was in Orlando. He's been disappointing in Houston, because that team was put together to win a championship, and so far they haven't come close, but McGrady was at one point a superstar.

Marion ftw.

-I agree with whoever said Nash. Steve Nash has always been a solid player, but he was never an all-star until he went to phoenix. People were so confused as to how he improved that much that late into his career. The answer? D'Antoni and the system. W/o D'Antoni this yer hes not even an all-star.
-Kevin durant is all points. And hes the only good player on his team, so if hes as good a scorer as every1 ses, shoudnt he be getting 30 a game?
-Melo, selfish one dimentional scorer.
-Deng .. whats he good at again?
Michael Redd- shooter and thats about it
Tony Parker- if he was on almost any other team, he would never be an allstar. he cant shoot, not that great at D, not that great of a passer compared to other PGs, and his only points come off drives and layups.
Most self-overated: Hands down shaq. This guy thinks hes better than dwight. Hes barely better than Brook Lopez.

This guy is not the most overrated star but How about Michael Beasley ? Everyone was projecting him to be the next franchise bigman. More like the next big bust. Where is this freak athlete with the uncanny scoring ability? He is stiff, an average athlete at best in the NBA. With only slight defensive pressure from a real bigman, all his shots become off balance and odd. A chucker with no defense, no passing, weak rebounder, and undersized. I dont think Beasley would reach Jamison status by the time his career is over, probably just another journeyman type. I would say he's Joe Smith reincarnate, expect Smith was actually productive his first few seasons.

thats funny, when I said I wasn't the biggest fan of williams and I saw him more as a SG who can run point, people went nuts.. williams is good, but I don't think he is as good as many make him out to be.. When I hear the announcers talk about he and Paul as if they are equals just gets me sick to my stomach!!!

He's not as pure a pg as Paul, but that doesn't mean he's that far beneath him as a player. There are things Williams can do that Paul can't.
