Has to be a Starbury that gets thrown.

I really hope he does show up. There are so many different things that can go down. I could see him heckling Q and calling him out the entire game. Kinda like when Mr. T called Rocky out in Rocky III.

Walsh: Why don't you get the hell out of there?
Marbury: Shut up, Old Man! I ain't goin' nowhere. Why don't you all these nice folks why you been duckin' me? Politics, man. This country want to keep me down. Keep everybody weak. They don't want me to have the title because I'm not a puppet like that fool up there.
Q: You know, you got a big mouth, you know?
Marbury: Well, why don't you come down here and close it, Richardson? Come on. Come on.
Marbury: I pity the fool!

Marbury: I'm the baddest man in the world.
Q: You don't look so bad to me.
Marbury: What did you say, Paper Champion? I'll beat you like a dog, a dog, you fool!

Marbury: [Calling to Brandy; Smooth talks] Hey, Woman. Hey, Woman! Listen here. Since your old man ain't got no heart, maybe you like to see a real man. I bet you stay up late every night dreamin' you had a real man, don't ya? I'll tell you what. Bring your pretty little self over to my truck tonight, and I'll show you a real man.

I so hope he goes ahead and does it.

This board would go crazy and some classic quotes would be around the corner.

I can see Marbury being put on the jumbotron and doing something that only he would think of.

Or a t-shirt with the words 'ALL ALONE' on it.

Seriously, though - it would be a good test of how the team can weather the Biggest Distraction Ever.

Actually, that's exactly what I'm afraid of. God, he could do anything. I'm even afraid he'll come decked out in Lakers gear and do his little dance-to-god the entire game. Grief.

I know and I must admit that I am not a diehard Knick fan but enjoy the team. Obviously for you guys, this is not funny as he has ruined your franchise along with Isiah. That said, it might be one of the most surreal NBA moments in history if he decides to do something over the top. I truly understand your concern.

He would own every NBA broadcast for a week.

It definitely has the potential to be a very weird situation.

The Knicks can't tell Marbury not to attend Lakers games as a fan.

If it's a Knicks vs. Lakers game, and he's under contract, then they can. I'm not 100% sure what was said between the Knicks organization and Marbury but didn't the reports say that he was told to stay away from the team? If so then going to a game is being around the team. Even as a fan. He'll be a distraction.

No player should be allow to sign a contract, refuse to play, and then sit on the sideline as a fan while getting paid. The only way it's ok if is the organization agrees to it.

Wow, this is verging on "crazy ex-girlfriend" creepy. Marbury is a creepy dude.

Man part of me wants him to be there and see what he pulls and part of me doesnt want that big melon around the team anymore.

It should be interesting nonetheless.

He just wants to get his grill on camera as the knicks get blown out very likely. Media will spin it in a way that knicks made a mistake and Marbury should be in the game. Why didnt he attent the Kings game?

And quite possibly cost him a contract. There is not one team in the league that would consider signing him if he makes such a spectacle of himself.
