Obligatory waived player thread - 'tonie Walker

Post#1 » by NoLayupRule » Thu Dec 18, 2008 11:28 pm

Obligatory mention

why? Because there are no 4s,thats why!!

But for the sake of argument Ill take the pro case.

Antonie Walker is the kind of guy who can come in and right away contribute.

Hes a threat from anywhere on the floor. Is a good rebounder and passer. He can take almost any PF off the dribble and shoot over any zone.

He's just been waived. For the vet Min wouldnt he be someone to consider?

how do you really feel?

Sheesh! We've already got Tim Thomas on this team, why not add Walker and be done with it?

We got rid of Crawford, we got rid of Randolph, no thanks to a Crawford/Randolph hybrid.

Antoine Walker is my least favorite player in the nba. Let him stay home and sit on his money away from Madison Square Garden.

i would definitely co-sign picking up Hendrix. The kid is just consistent and a hard worker. He won't wow anyone, but he's the kind of guy you are glad you have when its all said and done.

I'd prefer a defensive big from the D-League (like that 6'11 Center who is averaging Dwight Howard numbers), with Mobley's spot. And trade for a SG (I listed some of the guys I'd like in an earlier thread).

Then after Ewing Jr. Learns Mike's system in the D-League, do a 2-1 trade in Feb. and sign him as well to round out the roster.
BAF 1.0 - Wizards: Year 2
PG: Kemba Walker (32) / Rivers (16) / Felton
SG: Evan Fournier (28) / Evans (20) / Dotson
SF: Gordon Hayward (36)/ Delly (12) / Dudley
PF: Kevin Love (36) / Frye (12) / Ellenson
C: Pau Gasol (32) / Noah (16) / Felicio

if we get him we need to trade for Stephen Jackson so we can have two players who have scored 20ppg while having a shooting percentage in the 30s.
RIP Jared Jeffries. Gone but never forgotten...2006-2012
