For those wondering, these pictures are from his first year at Occidental College. He was asked by a photography student to have his pictures taken. The student found them during the election and put them in a safe deposit box until after the elections, so they couldn't be used against him.

My thoughts? THIS looks like a president I can have a beer with.

I read Time Magazine regularly while I was in high school, which was 7-3 years ago now (omg, i feel so old). Unfortunately, It became way too commercial of a magazine for me. There were times that I would see an article promoting products or ideas right next to direct paid advertisements for those ideas. It just became too much so I cut it out of my diet.

Right now, I read WSJ, NYT and the economist regularly, and I get a lot of my intraday news from bloomberg.com and CNN. I'll throw in articles from FT from time to time as well. My "diverse" source of news is digg.com. That is where I can pick and choose from articles that the internet audience finds popular, meaning I don't miss out on stuff like these pics when they were in TIME.
