the Skita comparisons aren't really fair. Gallo has already done better against better competition... he comes in as more of a known quantity and less on upside. I am certainly concerned about his back and hope the docs made the right call.

This is one thing I think gets overlooked.
When an athlete says there is some pain and discomfort you really think its that bad? No player in any sport is always a 100% there is always going to be pain and some discomfort. Gallo was looking solid from the clip, he face was showing no signs of discomfort. His shot is there and still looks like he got some hops.

So what if he takes two more weeks, why rush him? Its because impatient people who just want to complain because Donnie drafted Gallo instead of a redundant player.

I thought I saw him gimp around a little bit after one of the shots but it might have been a "cool strut" or something...

Man He still looks hurt...he was walking softly, I don't like the looks of it, but his J does look sweet, and he was moving well once in full motion, but you can see he still feel it...

Thats just the way he walks n sh*t. He even walked like that when he got drafted. Dude has the John Travolta strut goin.

I was honestly expecting him to look much more stiff than he was. He really does almost look 100% out there. No need to rush him though, a few more weeks and he should be ready to play.

I think you might be right, cause I just watched the clips from the summer league game and he does have a strut, Its still a little suspect but If it isn't then I don't mind the Travolta strut.

and if you lost faith in the pick you should really revisit the clips from that game, I forgot what he looked like that day, I really believe that if he was playing he would be in top ten rookie rankings, he really does have a good looking game.

Ha i basically have that whole game memorized of Gallo ive watched it so many times.

Nobody wants to see him out there more than me :D

Like Ive been sayin If Gallo makes a full recovery he will be special. Theres no doubt in my mind. He just has that "it" factor to me. He loves the game, has a high IQ, and is a team first guy. But even from that summer league game (i know its just summer league but still) he took over the game when he needed to. Some killer offensive moves and his shot is pure water, all at 6'10. This is why I just want people to be patient with the kid. Its easy to kick him when hes down but hes on our team so support him and dont whine about spilt milk aka players picked after him.

Well, if that's what the kids these days are doing then it's cool by me...

ZOMG he reminds me of david lee
This makes him an instant hard worker and a class act
Now all we need is to sign jared jordan to tear up the league like he was gonna do last year before he exposed himself as a scrub.

Shut up you racist f*ck.

David Lee is our best player right now by the way and him and Gallinari couldnt be more opposite in their games. Oh wait I get it.... they're both white!! You're so clever.

Is Gallinari going to be playing guard for us? Or was he just playing guard for the scrub squad because we have no other guards for scrimmages?

I'm pretty sure that was CGI animation.
