agreed. Also remember who got the #1 pick last year; the Bulls, who were at least a projected 8-9 pick. We have a chance to do something productive; no need to tank.

We can't count on IFs. We already have Lee. A bird in the hand is better than any number in the bush.

Maybe Wiz should trade Q...they need his consistency while playing for Wiz...lol

I can't see them moving the 2nd pick and another lotto 1st. Green? Depends I guess.

I don't believe giving up a core of Harden/Durant/2009/2010 1st is worth it to them. I'm not saying we can't get a 1st but it would be highly protected for a few seasons I'd bet.

of course it is.
griffin puts Oklahomans in seats
not to mention they need a big man

whatever their is barely any chance we get the number 1 pick
just saying if OKC doesnt, whoever does will be getting something very nice from OKC for it

The haters may not like to hear it, but Lee is molding into a very solid starting PF in this league. His jumper is becoming automatic, his post game is improving, and his face up game and finishing are as good as they have always been. Lock this kid up....5/45 sounds about right... he will be our part of our core going forward.

but TKF- i was wondering...should we just tank? we're not making the playoffs cuz we're way off (already)...should we just tank and get a good lottery pick? why try to win 30 games and jeopardize our lottery?

I am not for tanking. I am for playing hard and developing a culture of hard work and accountability wins will come later if not now... we have chandler, gallo, and lee so far a pick this year and cap room soon... No need to tank...

GREAT post. These players have lost long enough now and as D'Antoni said at the beginning of the season, one of the most important things is to develop a winning culture. We finally seem to have guys in place who truly are dedicated to winning and winning alone. Don't be fooled by the results or the record, overall this team is performing very well especially considering all the thing they already had to go through. Midseason trades, the best scorers traded, injuries, off court drama and so on... yet these guys hang in there and play the best they can.

Playoffs or not, tanking is for losers and a word that should never ever come up in a locker room. And btw, 2.5 games out is really not that much... not as early as we are in the season...
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...
