I have to research it....but I think it is unfair to compare this season to last season....it'll be a better comparison to compare this season to two seasons ago..

It's easy to find out. Go to http://www.nba.com/knicks/schedule/results_2007.html
Go to the same date last season : january 22.
There was no game that day so you go to january 21.
We played against Boston. Just click on the result column to open the boxscore page and you'll find out where we were at this time last season : New York Knicks (13-28).

Much easier method ! LOL

The NBA used to have a W/L column in the past too but they changed the schedule page 2 or 3 yrs ago and the column disappeared. Didn't know ESPN still had that column. Thanks.

It doesn't matter if it's last season or 2006-2007. I don't think it's a good comparison because it's not the same roster. We traded Zach Randolph and Jamal Crawford after 11 games, Eddy Curry played only 3 minutes this season, Marbury has been replaced by Chris Duhon and last year, Wilson Chandler barely played until the end of the season.

A better comparison will be made at the same time next season.

Oh good gracious, I hope you're not playing the "chemistry" card?

Listened for 4 years as Knick fans excused Isiah Thomas rationalizing that his team's needed time to find its chemistry, which was the insidious genuis behind constantly making moves.

Knicks record THIS year will tell us a lot about the players on the roster.

I'm not talking about chemistry, I'm saying it's not the same roster as our two best players were traded after 11 games and we made lots of changes. We're rebuilding (and trying to remain competitive if possible). No knock on Isiah (we already debated that enough) but he traded garbage, picks and expiring contracts for Marbury and was clearly trying to make the playoffs at all cots. He wasn't rebuilding at all. Anyway nobody really blamed Isiah for his first season but for the 4 seasons after that one.

That's why I said a better comparison will be made at the same time next season.

Unless, of course, once again there are some huge roster changes.
