LEE 1st in Double Doubles!!!

Tied with Dwight Howard! I could easily see Lee averaging 16 and 12 by the end of the season.

He's a beast in those PNR the fact that hes a terrific finisher with both hands makes it real hard to stop. he is also learning the nuances of how to get open, I'm liking Lee I think we need to extend the man.

I really think he's got to be an All-Star. And by the time the year is over, he may have added $2M-$4M more to his yearly salary.

Who would trade a lottery pick for a 6-month rental followed by restricted FA status? Don't see it.

So your saying any team that trades for Lee is being suckered? I would never trade Lee, he's the type of player that we will regret trading if we do. He is still only 25 or 26 and I think he still hasn't reached his ceiling!

But remember that the teams that would be more likely to want to rent Lee for a few months (and then worry about his contract in the summer) would be teams that are in contention. And teams in contention won't have lottery picks. Best you could hope for is two late first round picks from a good team, which is how they were able to draft Lee in the first place.

Lee is better than any lottery pick we will likely get. It seems foolish to give away a sure thing for a question mark. He should be extended now. He is an essential piece to our future and a big asset when Walsh and Wade/JJ/Lebron are sitting at a table discussing a deal in 2010.

If our lottery pick came in and produced like Lee, we'd be happy indeed. I'm getting to the point that we'll have to extend him now. On the right team, Lee would be worth 11-13 million. Hate to say it but true.

If Philly had Lee right now, they'd be competing for homecourt in the East... He's a perfect PF for a run-and-gun team...

while i can see the upside of trading lee i think it would be absolutley foolish to do so...hes the kind of a guy a lebron/wade/jj etc would LOVE to play with..lets just hope we make the right call with him

Lee definitely turned out to be a good pick. Gets better every year. Good hands, good BB IQ, good hustle player, and good decision making. Night-in and night-out, Lee is the most consistant player we have. You know exactly what you're going to get every night.

Doesn't surprise me .

Can we please get him a defensive big to play next to??

If they could bring in a big man with an outside game who's also a shot blocker, that would be an ideal situation to exploit Lee's growing ability to score inside, using either hand. I think that's the big difference in his game. He's figured out how to finish or get fouled around the hoop. He's not a monster dunker type, but more old school.

Camby, Rasheed Wallace, those are the kind of guys you'd want to pair with him. If Frye had a strong defensive presence, and hadn't regressed since his rookie season, he'd be the right type as well.

The interesting thing is that he is not just barely getting double doubles. He is getting legitimate double doubles with like 16 and 12 and such. More importantly, he is gotten better defensively, taking more fouls near the basket and doing a better job now switching hard in pick and rolls so now you rarely see the pick and rolls where he would accompany the opposing guard to the basket.

The point of 2010 is to have cap room to sign very good players to help us win. Lee is exactly that. I think it is safe to say that he is playing himself into a $10 million a year contract. I really don't see why we would trade him at this point unless we are blown away by someone.
