Jamal Crawford and Corey Maggette get into argument

Jamal Crawford and Corey Maggette got into an argument during Monday's game, as Crawford accused Maggette of being selfish, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Janny Hu.
Crawford yelled at Maggette, saying something like "contribute something other than scoring," a source said. The shouting continued into the locker room until order was restored.

Maggette doesn't like the fact that he comes off the bench. He is another head case like Al Harrington was in Golden State. What's wrong with Jamal telling Maggette to contribute. He is just being a teammate or maybe Maggette is hurt because Crawford has him on the bench.

Agreed. JC is as affable and nice a teammate as can be. Without even knowing more details, I'd lay this one on Maggette. He always rubbed me as a punk, despite his skills. I disagree about Brand though, aside from that issue with Clippers management, I think he's a stand up guy.

I dont recall Jamal ever getting into arguments on Chi or on the Knicks, hes such a soft-spoken, likable guy. That being said, if the argument ever got physical, Maggette would absolutely destroy him

Thanks. The thing is, that Brand is a good PR guy, but IMO he's one cocky SOB. He talks a lot of sh*t about other Teams (NY in particular), and he has no place to do so since he's always been on losing Teams his entire Career. I remember the way he dissed NY over and over, which is wrong since he's from the tri-state area. He reminds me a lot of Webber in the way he carries himself and talks about places like NY. Meaning he can be nice and a good PR for the cameras when he wants to be, but can be a real douche most of the other times.

I read a couple weeks ago when the Warriors got trounced by the Celtics. Supposedly KG went up to Maggette after the game and said, "way to get yours" shaking his head. Maggette is physically talented but has minimal IQ, and has absolutely zero consciense. What a huge mistake signing him to $50m or whatever by the W's. They're stuck w him now, ouch!

Jamal has never been a ball hog. Hes just been the only one who can handle or shoot on this team - other than mr ball hog steph - for some time

Magette is a selfish player

hes the prototype for a guy who gets the ball, lowers his head and charges the basket without an ounce of concern for better shots.

He gets to the FT line a lot that way too though

In addition too all of that, I remember him and Nate not really getting along in Portland. Especially with Miles' work ethic (it wasn't too long after that it broke that Miles doesn't really like basketball and is only in it for the money, and would like to retire not to long from now...and he was like in his mid-20's at the time).
