Still better then half of NY beat writers. Anyway, Wilcox is here for 30 games. He doesn't make anybody expandable.

Nope, it actually looks more likely that we resign Lee in the summer. If we pull off the Nate Robinson deal for Kenny Thomas, Lee is getting resigned for sure

Donnie's asking price is allegedly sky high for Lee. If he goes, we're getting back a lot.

So we probably won't re-sign Wilcox now huh? If he plays good I know people are going to want to keep him

Well - at the very least he gives us a bit more leverage in the event we have to trade Lee or negotiate with Lee. If Wilcox plays lights out for Mike D - we could re-up him next year for a reasonable deal. That scenario would make a Lee resigning less important - in theory.

I think that Wilcox is an average player who is just here until his contract expires.

I was thinking the same thing esp. when I just heard that Nate is staying.

Wilcox is here because Tim Thomas was traded for a guard and the Knicks don't have any other bigmen that can play in this system.

He only plays 20-25 min a game and will mostly take Jeffries min. Shouldnt effect Lee at all.

Also, hopefully Harrington's min will decrease which is a good thing.

Yeah, maybe.

I think we should only re-sign Lee if we can do so at a reasonable deal. If another team somehow offers him more and we have to let him walk, Wilcox could be a decent backup plan for us. He's only 7 months older than Lee.
