Hughes I expect to eventually supplant Q but I expect D'Antoni to wait a while out of respect for him.

Another good thing about this trade is Hughes can play the point to give Duhon some relief which also keeps N8 at the 2where he belongs.

I agree. I expect the changes to be gradual. Don't expect to see wholesale changes the first week, but eventually Q minutes should dwindle and Jeffries will be a bench warmer also.

Thank god.

The lineup will probably be ...

Duhon/Nate
Chandler/Hughes
Harrington/QRich
Lee/Gallinari
Jeffries/Wilcox

..till coach sees that they're used to the system and all then probably...

Duhon/Nate
Hughes/QRich
Chandler/Gallinari
Lee/Harrington
Jeffries/Wilcox

I don't see Wilcox starting for us, but it all depends on how he handles the opportunity he's been given. He's a dumb player, but we've seem him put up some big numbers not too long ago so it is possible he starts eventually.

I don't see Wilcox starting just yet, but he will eventually IMO. I would like to see Chandler and Nate come off the bench along with Q and Jefferies to give us a lift. That way we'll have a pretty decent combination of scoring and defense from both units. Ultimately, I think it will look like this:

Wilcox/JJ
Lee/Chandler/JJ
Harrington/Q/Chandler
Hughes/Nate
Duhon/Nate

I assume Gallinari will have his minutes reduced, but he'll see some time playing SG and SF.
