When Curry gets injured on the 2nd day of the season, Gortat & Darko will share time at center.

There's really just 4 regions that NBA players can come from.

1) USA (that's 90% of the NBA players)

2) Europe

3) Africa (Dikembe, Manute, Hakeem)

4) China (Yao, Yi)

South America, Canada and Japan are all part of Europe. I'm sorry if the people who believe in georgraphy disagree with this, but they are wrong.

-has a great natural athleticism, gifted physically

-doesn't really like to play basketball , started playing because people made him ('cause he was so tall)

-shows up 1 every 5 games

-has the tools to be a hall of famer if he wanted

-Jumps on every pump fake, doesn't box his man out, doesn't run the floor

-Used to have a jump shot, but has no confidence

-Great shot blocker

-Smokes a lot of weed during the off-season

-Has said that he would love to play for Mike D'Antoni

That's my scouting report on him, having seen him play many times

LOL Kind of sounds like the Euro-Curry! A few different skills but so hauntingly familiar in many ways. Give them each 25 mins and you have one decent center between them. Haha

I think darko plays PF before he plays NBA..could be an insurance if LEE will be traded

Agreed. This is a serious no-brainer, which makes me doubtful that the deal will go down as advertised. But I def hope it does.

Pretty much, but it doesn't sound nearly as bad as the english translation.

Duhon2Lee42 wrote:Yay! Scrub for scrub. But how does this help or hurt us? Darko isn't going to get in the game.

He's 7 feet tall, athletic, can run and block shots. He'll be in the starting lineup.

I believe his problem is the lack of passion for the game, like serbian guy said.. I mean, he looks like a greek statue, has the talent of a Divac, the athleticism of no European big man.. There is simply no logic answer to his horrible career so far.
I also think his nba role to be simply a defensive player got him depressed. When I saw him with the national team, very involved, he looked like a total different player. I mean he didn't look worse than Pau Gasol when playing the typical european basketball having lots of touches, and passing the ball a lot. I still have in my eyes a friendly game he played against Italy.. he looked like Shaq destroying everyone, but also shot 3s, and made Divac type of passes.. I've never seen anythink like that from him in the Nba.. Just think his Nba coaches contributed to his terrible career, by limitating his talent.

People do not understand Curry's reason for wanting to be a ballerina. He wanted to be able to contort his body to be able to fit in the fridge.

Donnie Walsh, Knicks close to acquiring Darko Milicic from Grizzlies

BY Frank Isola
DAILY NEWS SPORTS WRITER

Thursday, June 25th 2009, 4:00 AM

The Knicks are on the verge of acquiring the second pick of the NBA draft. The second pick of the 2003 draft, that is.

A deal that would send Quentin Richardson to Memphis for Darko Milicic, the player selected after LeBron James and before Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade, is close to being finalized. The 7-foot Milicic has been a disappointment since entering the league but he would give the Knicks a shot-blocker on their front line. Both Milicic and Richardson are entering the last year of their contracts.

"We're just having conversations," said one Knicks source. "Nothing is done yet."
