Could possibly be that because it's damn sure not anything to do with performance... Fultz has been just not effective on both sides of the ball.... It just makes the coach look kind of crazy because you're rewarding bad play.... I think he was the first guy off the bench tonight..... Maybe coach is trying to get him back on the groove and show confidence in him but.... At some point you'd think you'd be objective, you got to put the best guys on the court and between Fultz and AB? Black is the better option at the moment

I think that’s it, right? I think Mosley is hoping Fultz can play himself into something useful in the playoffs and he’s getting a long leash. He’s probably anticipating playoff defenses to lock down Paolo, Franz and Suggs and having to call on a PG with a strong enough handle for it - which is either gonna be Fultz or Cole. Better for Fultz to shake off rust now than then?

I really don’t see Fultz playing a lot of mins in the playoffs. Teams typically tighten their rotations and play 7 to 8 guys. Fully expect the main guys off the bench to be JI, Cole, and Moe. The others will just get scarps.

Defensively that is ok but offensively that lineup is just terrible.
On this team our defense is our offense, but I doubt we're changing the lineup.... We should be shortening the rotations though.....Suggs and Franz barely play over 30 minutes a game.... In the playoffs they need to be around 35.... No "all bench" lineups.... Your best players have to be on the floor more

It was really late but is what it is.

You have just described a refereeing system that is broken. How about call the game on its merits. What a novel concept.

I mean this respectfully as one fan to another, but are you Conor Mcgregor?

Are you asking me this or shadrock?

Absolutely disgusting end of the game.

To call that foul on Suggs was absolute ****. Suggs wasnt even in frame when they called it. One thing I cant defend Mosley on, is how he uses challenges. Its like hes scared to use it, and waits forever. Than he wags his finger when Fox already has the ball, like of course its **** too late. You waited 2 minutes. He does this all the time.

But the play where we had like 4 chances to win was disgusting, none of those shots felt like they were good or had a chance of going in.

But really only Isaac played good today, he was unreal. Man I get nervous watching him though. When he drives to rim and weaves through traffic. I hold my breath. And with that push from bitch ass Sabonis.

AB should absolutely be playing, makes no sense why he is not. Fultz is literally unplayable.

We lost by missing 4 shots to either win game or go to OT. Chances were there , plenty of them, we didn't pull it through.

NBA refs that wait for outcom of shot to call a foul are always pissing me off

Like i said at HT, Isaac had crazy good game and nobody else really played all that well.

Tonight Cavs vs Heat and Pacers vs Lakers are games to watch

I think coach hopes Fultz overcomes his issues and reverts to 2023 version.

Yeah, I agree to a certain extent that Magic defense is their offense but switching out WCJ and Harris for Goga and Black will just make the Magic more reliant on their defense to produce. You will have very few shooters on the court. The team will be highly dependent on Paolo and Franz to score but I do agree I don’t expect the starting up to change.

And also the starting line will be tightened in the playoffs. I only expect Moe, JI, and Cole to play off the bench.

I just don’t understand the Monk fascination. We have Monk at home (points to Cole).

No, Monk isn't Ross, Ross was blind when it comes to passing. He had seasons with 1 APG as starter, and it's hard thing to achive ( case and point, "is it anything" from Kings game shows how hard) .

Monk had terrible game, Cole had very good game. Neither Cole is this good nor Monk this bad.

Let's not overreact based on one game, in first meeting Monk scored what ? 37 points?

But would i burn boat of money on combo guard? Eh... I don't know who is aveliable and for how much so it's hard to tell.

We win the game if the starters could make a shot at any point in the game.

We also had 3 or 4 shots to win it at the end and couldn’t make them. It is what it is.

I hope someone let down that ref’s tires in the car park though, what a b*tch ass bailout call.

I don’t get it either…how bad would he have to be to not take Fultz’ minutes?

Markelle is only actual point guard on the roster, Suggs and Cole are shooting guards and Black appears to be a wing. It's not like Mosley has much to work with.

I agree, Fultz has best guard handles on a team and we kind of need that at times, plus he is a plus defender.
Overall we can see a 3&D value Harris brings to starting five. Houstan can shoot but not that good on drives and defense. I know Harris is not a true solution, but when he plays with starters and WCJ we are kind of a fine shooting team.
Also can't wait till Franz shooting comes back to normal. Great to see Cole getting back to form, he is very important for bench unit.

This game hurts a lot, but if we lost becouse Suggs was too aggressive on defense ? Let it be. We have so many non aggressive players that we cant castrate one wolf that we got out there. Jalen needs to be more disciplined but he is smart and that was good lesson for him.
We wont win anything if Franz keeps to struggle from 3. He needs a healthy offseason. I am not worried one bit he will be much better next year.
This game is like a playoff game. Very valueable experience, a lot of good film to learn from. I dont care if we end up 3 or 6. Even falling to play in is not the end of the world. I like some players in the draft like Daron Holmes. Having a shot in the draft has some value and we know we wont win a championship this year.

That’s a reasonable plan…would have been easily addressed at the TD…nothing has really changed since then. AB maybe getting DNPs more frequently perhaps and Ingles really looking older than his age. Fultz is Fultz.

Fultz shouldn't be playing professional basketball, but he is tallest midget of this group when it comes to playmaking. He is not nearly as good of a defender as Suggs and Black, so defense is not the reason why he gets 15-20 minutes per game.

I think the Magic only had one timeout at that point and Suggs did bump him. They prob don’t overturn it and you lose the timeout.

Franz lacks power in his shot, it is flat and hits front of the rim pretty consistently because he is not using his legs.

This is why I keep telling people to Lower their expectations come playoff time. See what happens when we play a good team? Fultz is unplayable and he'll be getting playoff minutes, we don't have enough guys who can hit a shot when we need it. We've over achieved this year but if the standings hold, the knicks will have us out in the first round five games maximum.
