Some unexpected news: The new stadium will move one block west of original location. The rendering looks like some things have changed from the original design but to small to really tell, the south end looks closed now. The original site will potentially be used for a new police headquarters. Maybe eminent domain wasn't going well with the church property. They will have no problem if it's for the police headquarters though. Curious as hell to see how this plays out.

Basically the city and team told the church to **** off and have dropped the eminent domain case. $2.5 million wasn't enough for them and it was decided not to spend a bunch of money on court costs.

There's now going to be parking for stadium staff. More entertainment stuff will be added to the renderings because of the money we're saving from not having to pay off the church.

It''s actually good news in the end.

I am sure some entertainment developer will still pay $4-5 mil for that Church property someday.

I think it's great news, not just to stick it to the greedy church, but because the open end will be right at Parramore. This could potentially go a long way to revitalizing that Church/Parramore intersection. There are a couple cool old brick buildings there.

Everyone should toss their empties in that church's property on the way into the game.

Kaká update.

The guy is killing it in Brasil. I can't believe how good he's been playing for São Paulo at 32 years old.

He runs the whole field, attacks, defends. It's unbelievable how good he still is.

Since he returned to São Paulo and played along Ganso, Pato and Alan Kardec, the team played 7 games and won all of them. Yesterday, we beat Cruzeiro, the leader, 2 x 0. Kaká played great again and São Paulo is now 4 points behind Cruzeiro.

It's too bad he has to play for OCSC next year, cause I'd love to have him around.

Anyway, you guys did great by signing Kaká.

He's definitely got his confidence. Supposedly there's a chance he may stay in Brazil after January/February. Hopefully that's a fake rumor. We need him here for the MLS start.

Tough that OCSC were one-and-done in the playoffs. Bitter sweet conclusion to our time in the USL Pro. We also had 5 Magic players there attending (Elfrid, Oladipo, Dedmon, O'Quinn, and Harkless).

Yeah, São Paulo is hoping to keep him if they qualify for the Libertadores Cup, which is very likely to happen.

But honestly, I think there's no chance of him staying in Brasil. Kaká is as pro as it gets and respects contracts. I believe he will be in Orlando when he said he would. Too bad for São Paulo, cause he's in great shape and will be missed.

MLS' new logo can be customized to match each team's colors:

I actually never had a problem with the old logo. I would say that instead of white, I wish the bottom part was gold. New logo looks okay. Didn't need to be special. The team badges matter most.

We needed a keeper and signed Tally Hall. Seems like a pretty solid pick up to me. He may miss the first few games recovering from ACL surgery but looks to be coming in his prime if healthy. We needed someone badly with MLS experience and at keeper is a good spot to have a vet.

A few tidbits that I heard over the past week:

- The club will announce a major Colombian player in the next few weeks. I have no idea who it is but it is an impact player
- The club was supposed to play Flamengo in Manaus during their preseason camp in Brazil but that fell through so expect the Flamengo game to be in São Paulo or Rio.
- The club will NOT use variable pricing for the games like the Magic do
- Home opener definitely on Sunday March 08th and all 65k seats will be available for that game

Orlando City kicking Major ass today. Delivering on a promise to add real MLS experience to the roster OCSC signed Tally Hall, Amobi Okugo and Aurelien Collins. Rumors still persist of a Carlos Rivas signing as well. Expansion draft will fill additional holes and Super draft to get some depth and future talent.

These guys are not screwing around. This team has real potential from day one and may compete for the playoffs immediately.

We also picked up Bryan Rochez. A talented young striker from Honduras. This team is serious man about competing.

Is there a designated OCSC Forum? I didn't see one on the RealGm Soccer site.

Not yet, but we do have a soccer forum with an MLS thread.

We also have some individual team threads, but not one for Orlando yet.

Can't wait to watch a game on the stadium.

Any word on whether we are getting any of the Copa America 2016 games? That would be beyond awesome.

There hasn't been enough activity on the mls side to warrant individual team forums, but one thing that I'm sure of is that Orlando fans are some of the most active and loyal and will make the forum better.
