Shame on me. Wrong team.

The Mizzou home game on the 29th has a noon kick off

Yep. No time to tailgate. Guess we'll all have to be loud while sober.
We really need a great showing considering we have 2 weeks of preparation. Need Latavius back and healthy.
Also, I'm surprised the football program is challenging the postseason ban. Hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the ass.

You get Mizzou at home with a bye? Freaking A. The Big East/ESPN wouldn't even give us a week prep for Rutgers after flying across the country.
Depending on the line, I'd take UCF. You might pull off the upset, even if you don't it'll be less than a TD margin.

Yea but they also hit us with our conference usa opener the following Thursday, so short time to prepare for East Carolina, who has given us plenty of difficulty in the past.

Watching the Boise state vs BYU game. Other than the lack of scoring, I'm excited about next year they are either coming to Orlando or we will be playing there. Their crowd is definitely into the game in Boise. Very impressed!

Playing Boise St yearly will indeed be awesome. Plus BYU is the big push for 14 teams so hopefully once we get a TV deal they'll get locked in as well. Rumored divisions are apparently with us in the same division as both of them.

Any early line yet?
Mizzou got their rear ends handed to them at UCS.
I would expect to see a "backed-into-the-corner" attitude on saturday

Any chance UCF becomes an 'Other Receiving Votes' with a win over Mizzou?

Likely not imo, two loses in a row for Mizzu doesn't scream strength of schedule. We need OSU to keep winning as well. If we win Saturday and than our next game I see us getting votes again.

Mizzou getting their asses kicked does not leave me feeling good. Really wish that would've beat South Carolina. Tigers will be desperate to defend their pride. No way they want to lose to a 'C-USA' team considering how **** our conference has been so far this season.

I would expect that Mizzou will be in a kick ass frame of mind

Watching the USC vs Mizzou game on my dvr. Not a good game for the tigers at all. Next year when we play USC looks very tough.

Franklin is clearly injured. Some are saying he's taking a bunch of pain medication. I could see them giving their backup a lot of time on Saturday.
Are we really a 2-point favorite right now? I've seen it dead even and I've seen UCF actually being favored by Vegas.

That two points isn't with much confidence since they give the home team three typically. I think UCF pulls out the win, it's gonna be tough though, Mizzou will be out for blood.

Being a season ticket holder for nearly 15 years, and having watched the GOL era (and suffered through much of it)....and knowing what GOL's track record is against BCS teams......and knowing that GOL teams are 2-7 coming following off weeks......taking the dog and three points seems like a cash cow.
That being said, I hope UCF is ready, QB Franklin does not seem healthy, and Mizzou might be in the foundational stage of a 2011 Boston College type season.....

Re: UCF Football[2-1]: vs Missouri Tigers (noon kickoff)
Some of the local sports talk guys are really worried this game won't be a sell out. I think it's a shoe-in that we'll fill up the Bounce House. SEC opponent. Plus, no one has anything better going on at noon on a Saturday. Game ends by 4, you can still do anything you want in the evening.
I'll be shocked and ashamed if there's an empty seat.

Wish I could go, but I got roped into helping downtown for that 80's Concert series going on. Thus, they got me working all day into the evening. No football for this pimp.
