This SHOULD be a blowout.

**** performance, IMO. But you can play **** against Memphis and still win by a few touchdowns. Not good.

Our postseason ban appeal hearing is on January 24th. Which means we will be playing in a bowl game this season (barring a monumental collapse by the team).

If this backfires, we won't be bowl eligible in our first Big East season. O'Leary has to get fired if we fail to win the appeal, right? Right?

Don't hold your breath for George going anywhere. I actually think Hitt tells Stansbury to extend him if we finish strong.

Two more wins and the Knights will start getting votes on the Rankings ballot.

nah. and he shouldn't be. Not for that reason anyway. He wasn't involved in the cheating and it wasn't his decision to appeal. Yea i know he basically talked Hitt into it but ultimately the decision to appeal was made by President Hitt.

He should be fired for his record and never winning big games, lol.

Whooooooooo...i'll tell you what...Latavious Murray is a man among boys. Once he decides it is time to turn upfield, look the **** out.

And i'm pretty sure that breeze I feel outside is from Hurricane QUINCY.

Go Knights!

Impressive win last night.

Might get a few votes.....it's just a shame that UCF didn't measure up against a weak Mizzou team.

Glorious beatdown. Speed kills and so does Quincy McDuffie.

Makes you wish we had a healthy Murray against Ohio State and Mizzou. ****.

I think the major 2 issues regarding the lack in interest in the team:

1) Constant overhyping of non conference games and self destructing: Every non conference game gets severely overhyped by UCF officials ("this could be the biggest win in history") and the team has lost all of them in ulgy fashion. People have become immune to the hype because they always fail to deliver. They say UCF is the sleeping giant, well the giant is in a coma.

2) GOL- ask anyone one who knows UCF football and just about everyone hates the man. The playcalling is antiquated, conservative, predicatble, and boring. It would be a great system for 1950 but its 2012. There are no adjustments and the man is clearly too stubborn. When you got people that dont know anything about football preditcing the plays then you got a problem (run, run, screen pass to the side). The team has had talent for years but the coaching staff cannot adjust to their talent to max performance. This team is not fun to watch play.

adding to this: a friend made a statement on facebook about how UCF shuts down school for football but not when the POTUS comes to speak. Someone says, "yea we're not even any good at football!" Another says that we stink but football brings in a lot of revenue.

I point out that we're 6-2 and one of our losses is to an undefeated OSU on the road. We hardly "stink." Their response? "We USUALLY stink. Forgive my ignorance."

Point blank, too many roller coaster seasons. Even though we've won a few conference championships and we won the Liberty Bowl just two seasons ago, fans have gotten so used to being excited to be let down that they've gotten the perception that our football program "stinks."

I would wager that if we were 9-3 or 10-2 for the last 4 years, but didn't win a single championship or liberty bowl, fan perceptions would be better.

lol I was hoping that wouldn't be the part you focused on. Yea believe me, I set it straight, though I do agree that with such an event happening it would be an ok idea for the school to suspend classes in the morning for people to go see the POTUS speak. At the same time maybe that should be left up to the Professors.

I can't figure out to either give or take the points.

SMU has been horribly overmatched against decent teams, but has played much better of late.
