Watch us make an appeal.

The fooball game today should have been on the ESPN family of networks, it's been getting decent hype to my surprise. Get Latavius the ball and move the **** out of the way.

Tulsa a 2.5 favorite.

I wonder if they'll draw 20K

Close game 16-14......but it looks like this one's gonna get away from UCF.

If I ever see a run of calls for bubble screens again I will throw up. 10 straight incompletions, probably 8,9 were the same freaking play.

Sounds cliche, but game wasn't as close as the score. Just never really felt like we were ever going to win that game. Props to Tulsa...they have some really talented kids on their squad...will be seeing #2 in my nightmares.

Big game so it was right on cue.

This was totally predictable. Big game and they fall flat on their faces, with O'dreary getting trounced by his countepart. This is the main reason that fan enthusiasm is apathetic. No one gets excited when we beat teams like SMU by 40 something points. They want to win the big games against good teams. People are tired of getting hyped up by UCF for these big games only to have the expected meltdown.

I just wonder when UCF will be the team that comes out in the second half that changes their approach from the first half successfully.

2016?

With the conference moves of Maryland and likely Rutgers......the dominoes will again fall.....leaving exactly what in the Big East?

It's not looking pretty.......

UCF and USF really should team up and make pitches to the ACC or Big 10. Big East is getting gutted before we're even in it.

The move by Maryland will be regrettable for everything and everyone except for the money.

The feedback so far has been enormously negative, but reality won't really set in until the move takes place with new schedules underway.

The additional revenue stream will be helpful to the school and its supported athletics, but c'mon, is it really prudent long term and short term to leave generational and geographical rivals so that the school can field women's field hockey, men's badmitton teams?

Message to Md; Try winning more to produce revenue.....

Maryland is a founding member of the ACC too and I'm just stunned they're not listening to everyone's advice about them staying. They'll regret it long term. This is a smart move like Rutgers and they'll mesh immediately. They look like a Big 10 school.

Now rumors are that San Diego State and Boise State are getting cold feet about moving their football programs to the Big East. Not good.

UCF is looking very dumb for not taking the bowl ban this season because all of a sudden this team is actually in a decent spot to play well in the Big East next season.

Maryland to the ACC is a silly move. Unless the B10 plans to move to move to 16 teams. Say, taking GT and UVa. The Terps and SKnights are on an island right now. Adding 2 more east coast teams could create a decent 4 team "pod" and add new markets.

I'm fairly pissed about Rutgers going to the BIg Ten. I think in 20 years it'll be viewed as a huge gaffe. The school has been around 150 years, yet been "relevant" (kind of) the last ~10 years (i.e. under Schiano's fist). Hell, they stormed the field against a school in the FBS for ~10 years at the time (you know who). That said, of the Big East teams, Pitt and Rutgers were the most Big Ten "like".

I like the idea of UCF/USF coupling, actually. In effect, I think we can sell being "reverse linked" to FSU. That is, if the ACC loses FSU, are they comfortable only having Miami representing the state? Similarly, if the Big XII doesn't ever "woo" FSU do they want no FL presence? Regardless if UCF/USF pair up, I hope USF is selling the above.

"We" kind of need to hope for a complete collapse of the BE, otherwise, the old standby's may be Cinci and USF + it's old C-USA brethren, without BSU/SDSU. I'm not sure that's an improvement over the C-USA we used to be in (before it was C-DOA).

Also, don't discount that ND may do the unfathomable and join ACC as a full member. That stops expansion in it's tracks IMO, for a bit.

I don't think anyone fits the ACC geographically, culturally, and without significant opposition in what's left of the Big East. UL and UConn both, allegedly, have major detractors against them; surprisingly UL has more detractors apparently. USF and Cincy are probably met with apathy currently, but USF has obvious opposition.

The feedback has been overwhelmingly against the move by MD.

I would expect that the shock and negativity will wear off in the coming months.

Football-wise, MD isn't going to miss much other than Clemson where there is some history....but basketball is another story. The ACC has already lost some of it's identity with the earlier expansion, so basketball was already affected.....but still their is a lot of history that has been kicked to the curb

The funny thing is; is how long does it take before MD and Rutgers outspend their new TV windfall?

SDS and BS is probably an issue, depending on what happens with the TV contract.

If they don't come, and UCONN and/or UL leave, then the BE is essentially dead in football.

I wonder what is going through the minds of the BBall schools? I'm sure many want to bail...
