Bobby Ray wrote:Man has Dwight really turned into that kind of player? the kind of player that is a cancer to a team? i mean he cost Stan his job and now with the rumors flying he could be costing another coach his job. What happened to this dude man? I always thought that while it was tough to see Dwight go it was probably the best thing for both parties, Now i'm thinking we got out at just the right time.

Dwight is being exposed right now but this is his own doing he wanted this but it seems like he can't handle it too well. I mean this guy was an Iron man rarely injured but now injuries are popping up left and right could it be karma? It's funny looking back on it now but wasn't it T-mac that said when asked to give Dwight advice on his impending Free Agency that "The Grass isn't always Greener" Seems like he was right at least so far

his biggest problem is that he wants everything his way. he wants to play in a big market, but he wants to be the star of the team, and he wants everything run through him, but he wants all-star level help.

what he really needed was a season spent in Houston as the team's #1 option, so he can learn his own limitations. i don't know if he'll ever get that chance, so i'm not sure how he'll turn his career around.

Not a single Brooklyn all-star. Kind of impressive for a team with a 26-16 record.

I guess the coaches finally got a hold of all the incriminating photos Joe Johnson had of them and burned them.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Redick bumping knees with CP3 has really cost the Clips. They've really fallen off. Lost to Suns last night in Paul's absence.

Kobe has 8 assists and less shots than dwight at the start of the third... he's obviously deferring. It's going to be funny when Dwight thinks it will last more than a game or two.

Kobe ends the game with 14 dimes, ridiculous, no way he can keep that pace up. He dies a little inside each assist.

The win means nothing, Utah is not a good road team so the Lakers got a lucky break.

Their season is pretty much over whether they make the playoffs or not.

Yeah, there is no way they get past OKC in the first round if they're "lucky" enough to get to the 8th spot. OKC would run them out of the gym.

With Rondo done, do the Celtics move Pierce? And why does Dwight wear a Magic colored headband?

i think so.

Pierce for Gay? Pierce for Tyreke Evans + filler? Pierce for Millsap/Jefferson? Pierce for some GSW pieces (Thompson/Barnes + Landry)?

i think there are a few options out there for the C's at the moment, and this gives them the perfect excuse to start making changes. it needs to happen, so may as well embrace this unlucky turn of events.

this makes me think - the NBA should allow for some kind of Veteran Reward Provision, that allows NBA teams to remove 75% of an NBA player's salary from the cap as long as they've been with the team for 5+ years, they are over 30, and their contract has fewer than 3 years remaining.

would allow teams to actually keep these aging franchise players, continue to pay them at the rate they deserved when they signed a new deal, and continue to rebuild without having to either impede their own rebuilding process (by keeping an overpaid veteran on the books), or disrespecting a player that may have done a lot for the franchise.

I just asked that too, he's been wearing it for a while now, not just today. He initially had a purple one but at some point switched to blue.

It looks more Mavs blue than Magic on further inspection.
